There are some extremely convincing proofs (as long as you avoid the controlled opposition FE theorists who try to push idiotic theories).
One of the better was from Samuel Rowbothom, who mentions a nearly thousand mile stretch of the Nile in which a foot or so of variance is measured. If this is true, and spherical trigonometry dictates an 8 inch drop per mile squared of distance, a spherical earth would be an impossibility based on the observable characteristics of fluid alone.

Edit: couldn't find much about that specific Nile theory, but found him bullchitting about some other stuff so it's not looking good. Will check out the vid you spoke about in my cp sometime though.
One of the big problems with flat earth for me, (as far as stuff I can personally observe goes rather than just stuff that doesn't fit in with science as we know it) is that the diagram of the earth with the sun and Moon rotating above physically can't be true because of where I see the sun rise and set each day. Plus I don't see how that would work with partial moons etc.

You seriously find it odd that people had maps?

Also that is one of the most interesting facts about drop in rivers or stretchs of land. I think there is a video that discusss the lack of appropriate drop across the state of Kansas.

Is there another theory of what the flat earth looks like apart from the one with the sun and moon rotatingb over the top that catbeah used to post? Since I can see with my own eyes that that one is not true that's a big hurdle to me believing any of this.

I don't understand how you guys can think the Earth is flat? How is that possible when a passenger jet can take more than ONE direction to go from point A to B.

Two questions. I enjoy listening to the very detailed conspiracy theories...
1) what are they hiding and why?
2) what about the hundreds of astronauts, spy plane pilots, etc, and the thousands of pictures that show the curvature of the earth. how would they keep a conspiracy going involving that many people and entities with zero leak?

So why is almost every single object in the observable universe spherical... and we're flat?

Let's start with 2. By NASA's own admission, almost all its curved Earth pictures are CGI composites comprised of ribbons of photographs taken from the 20,000 satellites supposedly orbiting the Earth (despite only CGI renderings of satellites existing in Google images). Additionally, its "official timelapse video" of the rotating earth has no cloud movement over a 24 hour timeframe lol.
The astronauts have a tough job and are often increasingly withdrawn from society and prone to alcoholism over an extended period of time. ISS and other such endeavours are faked using parabolic flight patterns. When outside in space, shots are faked underwater. The moon landing, an obvious hoax, came at a cost of 30b to the public - many people within NASA have sufferred untimely deaths (including 11 or so within 2 years of Apollo 11, 7 of which were "airplane crashes," and 3 included astronauts burned in 100% pure oxygen during a test) and the mathematics around NASA's own exploits make no sense (Mars lander deccelerating from 16,000 mph in several minutes with a parachute in a nearly non-existent atmosphere by earth standards and smoothly landing a device that even during testing looked like utter chit?).
Lol.
1. Imagine how the world react to being told everything they'd learned from birth was essentially a lie. Things would get messy and people might as well remain blue-pilled imo.

all nasa staff laughed and joked while showing it like it's a big joke.
