Final Fantasy IX

Playing that as a kid blew my ****ing mind. The story, characters, gameplay, atmosphere, music. I love everything about it. VII and VIII also, those three games I'd play over and over again.

I could go on. Luckily I still can get hooked on a game and get those feels I got when I was a kid, although it is more rare. Unfortunately now most of my gaming is just me alone - its not like it used to be when I'd go over my friends house and play outside then come in when it was dark and play games for hours. The games I have the fondest memories of are those ones. The excitement of playing SNES/PS1/N64 games as a kid and then following that to the 360 is something I'll never experience again.

I was in college when halo 2 came out. Our dorm building and the one across the street was connected on the same network. It didn't matter if it was like 3am there were always local lobbies up. The best is when you were playing people on the same floor and could hear them yelling when you were demolishing them. Probably one of the more fun times I've had with gaming.

Halo 2 is GOAT and always will be. It set the benchmark for xbox live online play. If you had an xbox and a live membership, you had this game no questions. I rotted away my teen years playing it but made so many sweet memories.

Just wish they made MCC have all the original glitches like superbouncing, at least in custom games.

RE4 and Silent Hill 2 for me. RE4 was just straight adrenaline all the way through. Made you feel like a beast.

Silent Hill 2 is, to this day, the best story I've encountered in a video game. Legitimate tear jerker, and it was scary as hell.

Cod 4 and halo 3 are my favorite games of all time. It was when I Forster playing online and had he biggest highs playing cod 4 and halo 3 customs as a kid. I also enjoy cod zombies. But man I wish there was a way to relive those days playing search and destroy all night with everyone having a mic trashing talking and bagging everyone. Now it seems like Xbox lives party system isolates gamers from interacting with others that aren't apart of your group.

Completely forgot about the original Bioshock. Chit was amazing. The only reason why I don't mention RE4 is because escorting and playing as Ashley knocks the game down a few pegs. It tainted a nearly flawless game.
