I feel like many of the hot girls that do it are doing it just to follow the trend and they don't actually "love" doing asmr videos. I feel that they force themselves to love it and try to convince themselves they love it but deep down they know the real reason they are doing it is for Youtube fame

Anyone have any recommendations to some high quality ones? I have never heard of this before until today but it looks really interesting and I'd like to try it, seems to be soothing, almost like meditation.

Of course there will be those who hop on the trending bandwagon. They see it's popular. Fairly easy to do. Profit. Just have to weed out the potato girls and find the true hbb's of ASMR. I like ASMR channels with very few subscribers and views. You'd be surprised that those are often the best. Sometimes it takes a while to find a good one, but when you do it can almost feel like a drug.

I don't like ASMR vids with hot girls though. Makes me horny and then I need to rub one out before I can just relax to the video.

Most of the ASMR channels coming out nowadays are ass. They immediately have Patreon and google wallett links in their video descriptions even if they only have like 5 videos up, and the content is subpar at best compared to the channels who actually take their time to get things just right. Two of the main channels I used to enjoy and got me watching ASMR in the first place stopped uploading a while ago:

VeniVidiVulpes
SoundSculptures

Some that I still check out now are:
ASMR Angel (she is very creative with her characters, and funny. Think she hosts a comedy club at her day job)
FairyChar ASMR (very soothing and technical)
MissASMR (she is hnng, and her voice puts you at ease)
TheUKAsmr (she doesn't upload much anymore either)
GentleWhisering (one of the OG's. She did an arm massage video a couple years ago that legit knocked me out)

It's not a benefit, it just puts you at ease like classical music. It's like someone rubbing your head soothingly. Some people experience it and some don't. Just like some FA people probably use it to simulate a person being in the room with them, most people just use it to be put at ease.
