I don't think there is anything inherently wrong with girls going on trips with their girl friends, even to Vegas. It is fine to have to some time apart and have a social life.

However, any decent quality girl in my experience have done the following:

1. Respond to texts and call on a regular basis, check in with BF.

2. Talk about what they are doing since its normal to share experiences with BF if they are apart.

3. Not put themselves in comprising positions out of respect to their relationship.

If a GF can't do that then they don't have respect for you or your relationship so its probably time to move on.
