Not really glitchy, just poorly optimized.

Like everything works, I just get barely over 70 FPS, despite most other games playing 100+ FPS on ultra.

Like I'll spawn and the houses won't form, then my guns won't fire, guns won't animate even though it shows me holding a rifle.

I should be able to play it on medium pretty easy, maybe my ram is holding it back.

On some rare occasions ive had an invisible gun, which wouldn't shoot either, and the game has crashed a few times too but thats it

I've been reading the forums, the optimization is chit right now. Plenty of guys with PCs that should be running on ultra have to run it on medium just to play it.

I think you might be overstating the capabilities of your PC.

I've got an i7-4790k and GTX 980ti and the only way to get above 60 FPS is playing with pretty much everything on low or very low. (3440 x 1440p monitor)

Aside from glitches, how is your actual FPS?

With a 1080ti and playing at 3440x1440p I have everything on ultra and aa off and get 70-90 in open ground and down to like 30 in the biggest cities. I've seen alot of people complaining tho.


That being said I've been playing all nught.... My current steam session is 344 minutes.... For ****s sake

I've only played 1 round so far for like 40 minutes. I can't stand solo play, so I only game when my boys are on.

Plus there are only 3 weeks of school left so I'm kind of drowning in deadlines ;/

I have a Titan P playing 1440p ultra wide on ultra and getting the same, havent been as low as 30 though

Theres only one city that makes it drop to 30. I forget t the name but it's fukkin terrible... I try not to ever even go there lol. Alot worse for the people I play with who don't have newer hardware.


But yeah I played with some homies all night. Got second place twice but still didn't win ****kkkkkkkkkkk.

Managed to get lucky and get the m24 from a drop... Then found a silencer for it and an 8x...it was ****ing awesome. Thump... Down... Thump... Down

I've played 8 or 9 rounds so far. Last night I took second place, fckin shot like 50 rounds at the last dude and missed all but a handful then he one shots me. Only had a lvl 2 helmet but wtf. Had a silencer and red dot, wish I would have at least found a 4X because I would have probably won. Only had 3 kills but I'll take it.

cant wait for the performance update. I have to run on 1080p to get somewhat stable 60fps. whats wierd is that when i play on 1440p my performance isnt really all that different other than a little less stable. I also need to be able to use vsync.

playing with a 1070 and a 6700k Ultra settings btw. this is unreal engine so i should be rock solid 60fps at 1440p. ****, i can 4k bf1 at 50-60fps

Bros make sure u change the default settings, especially turning up the brightness to 85-90 and foliage on the lowest and makes a world of a difference to spot enemys

Also playing with headphones will make you hear alot more footsteps and u can tell what kind of surface they are walking on


Also i have verticle sorta purple lines/dots on the right part of my screen only when i play this game, anyone know whats causing it?

I hope they do away with the foliage trick to be competitive, I hate games like that. I want to play a nice looking game on an even field without being at a disadvantage.

Is there a site I can read that explains half the things in this game? How to read the map, what circles mean, red dots, etc.

lol not much point in hiding in tall grass if they can turn the tall grass off. This is every competitive game ever though.

Honestly, I feel the same way. I was playing on Ultra and loved hiding in the grass/shadows, just dreaming of finally obtaining a ghillie suit from an airdrop and being a ghost.

Brb, put settings on low and it looks like I'm playing on green pavement. Places where I thought I had complete cover were so f-ing exposed.

Boyos anyone having trouble shooting people in the water?

Was down to top 5 in solo and someone was swimming across the stream.. easy pickings as you splash around so much and swim so slow, plus u cant shoot when in the water

Dont think i hit him once, and got killed after i shot like 20 slow firing single rifle rounds at him. Was like the bullets couldn't penetrate the water
