And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds, for the ashes of his fathers, and the temples of his gods?

Is that why you posted it to another site and got laughed at when you said it was a misc hit? Lmao dude you are outta your mind.

Your last meme was absolutely a failure and you're delusional if you think some low rep 2015 join dates ripping you for it means anything.

We know you posted it elsewhere and got annihilated.

If it was successful why does no one use it ever?

I'm down with new ideas but we already have Pepe and that bald guy who someone sketched (don't know his name.) I was thinking the bald-sketch guy was already the "official" mascot.

I'm specifically asking if the fellas on here would support the creation of a forum mascot. I know some may not be open at all to the idea, regardless of how funny it may be. I'm simply gauging interest.

We have a mascot. It's Bert and always has been. You trying to force ****ty stuff here is exactly why ppl don't like you. You're join date shows you weren't even around for the creation of most of the classic misc mascots. So just stop trying to force yourself on everyone. If you were naturally funny your stuff would take off and you wouldn't need to announce every time you made a ****ty meme

They act like there's a shirt or something even, silly.

I personally am all for some sort of a bird, maybe even a duck type mascot, maybe even named dale or something similar. Now that would be a memorable fitting mascot.

no thanks. the first "silly, awkward situation" that a miscer mascot will encounter will be the zebra copypasta either in a room full of people or one on one with an attractive female.

The second situation will be some form of mental break, followed by the rapid descent into the hole that is being red

RE: the Bert mascot, he most certainly has been a mascot for the misc. I have several different shirts all with his face on it, all purchased through misc or from miscers.

I appreciate the support, Caleb. This desperate grasp of a dead, unoriginal meme is just more evidence of the lack of support for original content on this forum. I offer something new and I'm attacked before it's even created? Ridiculous. Completely ridiculous.

Yeah if you make those little comic strip things, has potential to be hilarious, base it off flapjacko, and whenever he screws something up in a social situation he can proclaim later "its my throid"

Seems the modern day misc is intimidated by original content these days. Luckily there's still a handful of members that appreciate it and aren't threatened by it.

Reminds me of the guy earlier in this thread(name is a satanic reference or something), that bashed Suppressed Vexation. The views/rep ratio alone speak volumes for the quality of that meme. Without a doubt creative original content.

Lol this serious undertone got me thinking.

What if we put together a gofundme to pay an actual marketing firm to come up with a mascot and brand for the misc? Yeah I know that'd be illegal because it's under the bb.com forums. But still lol.

But I just pictured us sending the $148 dollars we would raise and Jason Genova in the boardroom trying to convince some marketing people to create something for us.

I suspect Bert only became the mascot because there weren't any better options. He's a homosexual character on a very liberal children's show. It makes zero sense for him to be the mascot here.

It would be a very comic-centric mascot. Many comics directly inspired from threads on here. I'd most likely whip out the full color comics for this one.

Excluding this thread, when's the last time you've seen Bert posted on this forum? Huh? Tell me when...? It's a dead, unoriginal meme that the Misc grabbed onto years ago because they lacked the ability to create their own content.
