This is good advice bro, i personally do them to the height of my sticky point or generally to just to overload the muscles im targeting.

I do just above the knee for a Upper back + Trap dominated lift. Also, generally as the rack height gets higher so does the max amount of weight that can be done on it. So this for me is great for supra-maximally working the Traps and Upper Back aswell as deadlift lockout.

If my sticky point is at my shin height i do rack pulls at shin height. Generally the weight is lower than high pin and more difficult but adds in more work on the lower body.

If my sticky point is through the middle, i put it at my knee or an inch or two below.

As this guy said, no pin height is the the perfect height, it just depends on what part your working really and where your sticky points are in the deadlift. The "perfect" pin height changes from person to person as different people have different weaknesses.
