Money is a much greater factor then looks, and nobody just hands you money for being good looking in the real world (unless you are female).

The problem with the misc is, its all or nothing. The simple truth is the vast majority of male's can improve their looks by 'hard work' and focusing their energy on that instead of self loathing and negativity. There is some truth to what you're saying.. I think if your aim is money the formula of hard work and persistence should work however you usually get the money when you're out of your prime (45+). If your aim is women then genetics plays a huge role, I'd say 60% looks, 40% personality (fuk misc, seen to many ugly fuks getting hot sloots), so for people like me who are awkward manlets we're pretty fuked.. So my aim in life is just to do what makes me happy, which is making music, helping my dad's business grow and seeing new chit.. If money and bitches are a by product of that then cool if not then what can I do? Not gonna kill myself cause i only have this one life then i'm gonna die anyways, so gotta just live with what I got I guess

you seem mad. little background on me for those interested in reading. grew up very poor with a single mom and an older brother. my dad died when i was 7 from a drug overdose (on purpose) because he was very sick with hep c and hiv. he moved in with his mom when i was 2, so i never really knew him. until age 12 i wore bifocal glasses with an eye patch over my left eye. all day, everyday. became an extreme introvert and played WoW from 12-15, usually 8+ hours a day. zero social life. first day of sophomore year i got kicked out of high school for fighting, went to a boarding school run by the USMC. essentially half a year of boot camp and 4 hours of school per day. fast forward 8 months, graduation rolled around. stopped wearing glasses and was extremely in shape.

once i got out and moved back in with my mom, i was almost 17. lifting weights and boxing became a hobby and lifestyle. while working as a prep cook and to go attendant at chilis, i opened up socially and made friends. also met a local girl and went through teen love, sex, break up, etc. i tried harder around the house and put in about $100/week toward groceries and bills. moved up to being a server then eventually bartender. met a different girl at work and moved into an apartment with her before my 19th birthday. we fell in love and she was pregnant by the time i was 20. we have since moved states and have our own place in colorado, im still in the restaurant industry and went through the manager in training program. have the option to make about 58k/year in 2018 at a different restaurant. but i want to do something more important, and better for myself and my family. my son is turning 4 soon and before i commit to 20 more years in the food biz i met someone who asked me to apply for the local police academy. jumped through some hoops and believe the academy is in my near future. if i dont make it for whatever reason, ill have my job to fall back on and provide for my family. but with extra effort, a sober and healthy lifestyle, good financial history/credit, etc i finally feel like ive become someone.
