Can't say I'm surprised. The guy had his life made. Fresh off a new contract with one of the best organizations in football and you do something stupid like this..... Just goes to show that you can take the thug out of the ghetto, but can't take the ghetto out of the thug.

Absolutely ruined what could have been a very lucrative life. No sympathy for him when people would do anything to have 1/10th of the money he had.

NFL star hanged himself using bed sheet attached to window

Former NFL star Aaron Hernandez, who was serving a life sentence for a 2013 murder and was acquitted last week in a 2012 double slaying, has committed suicide in prison.

Corrections officers found Hernandez hanging in his cell at 3:05 a.m. at the Souza Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley.
