Meh.
If some of you guys think every human life is worth saving then you haven't met/seen some of the truly awful people in this world. You can be sure that some people have a tremendously negative and harmful impact on this world, and that the world is a better place without them.

she is most likely a sociopath. dead srs. Socipaths are typically malicious and malevolent because they are not capable of feeling empathy or sympathy. they are liars, as we've seen with this animal killer who claims to have ptsd even though she most likely hasn't engaged in any activity that would induce it.
It's really scary knowing that people like this are in the military and are especially attracted because they can enact their disturbing agendas

And before you say "b...b...but she abused a dog". Does that justify you celebrating her suicide?

Obviously we don't know what happened to her on deployment. Maybe something terrible that led to drug abuse, that led to her killing her dog. Either way it's a sad situation overall.

She didn't actually have PTSD. What could she have possibly experienced while briefly in SOUTH KOREA that caused it? Absolutely fukking nothing. I'm not foolish enough to buy into that BS - I mean, clearly she had mental illnesses, but PTSD from South Korea wasn't one of them.

Personally i think most people claiming disabilities and ptsd are a crock. Unless they legit got hurt in combat or fought in combat.

the anecdote was a counterpoint to your argument that normal people would give the dog up for adoption rather than kill it.

What stress did she have being stationed in south korea?
I dont believe she had ptsd but rather she was milking the system.

Should could and probably faked it, but she did kill herself. Which is definitely a symptom of ptsd

Your points about the lack of empathy for deers being killed seems to be a decent point on the surface, but deer aren't a part of a person's family and or house life. Dogs and cats especially have been companions to humans for hundreds of years (thousands if you count ancient societies like Egyptians with cats for example). Going off of your line of thinking, people are narrow minded and foolish for opposing some contemporary Asian countries like China for eating dog and cat meat since after all, we can eat deer meat, chicken meat, etc. etc. I think people have a tiny bit more attachment and fondness for dogs and cats than bambi who is not a household pet and thus is not a part of human families.
For what it is worth, I do hold an unfavorable view of hunting wild animals for sport like deer.

What is wrong with they did? Animals are lower than us and we should be able to do with them as we please. It was quite obvious that the woman and her husband had a good and fun time killing this dog so there's nothing wrong with what they did. Also for those of you bashing on them, I'm sure you eat meat where the animals live in much worse conditions than how this dog lived and died much more brutal deaths because they taste good. They enjoyed killing the dog, and you enjoyed w/e animal you ate (and pigs are much smarter than dogs). These people aren't any worse than you are.
