Yeah its super crazy how accomplished you guys WERE in the PAST. Even crazier to believe that a bunch of people in rags, with no military training beat a country who won 107 wars in 300 years, and "Civilized" (you used and spelled the word wrong) 90% of countries.
Really adds to the epic tale of the US being complete underdogs and puttin a whoopin on the red coats.

Nothing against 4th July because I was never involved and neither were you, fuking plebs.

No American alive today can stand up and say they "suck it" to one of their longest standing allies but they do and it shows how retarded they are. I've researched WW2 quite extensively... and as much as I agree that Russia's effort on the Eastern front is as significant an event as any... D-Day was Germany's most catastrophic defeat. And The U.S.A. dedicated half of the troops in that invasion(73K/156K)... so it's safe to say that our involvement in the allied invasion is directly correlated to the victory.

There's no need to try and deflate the contribution of the Americans in WW2. You could very well be speaking German right now if it weren't for us.

its not really taught tbh. gcse history from what i remember covered ww1/ww2 and the russian revoulutions up to the cold war.

i dont even remember learning about bronze/iron age viking, roman, norman, tudor, georgian, elizbethan etc history. we have thousands of years of history, not 250 like merikaaaaaaaa

if America didnt join, and Britain fell. America would have been fuked. A european Germany would have dominated the world. Lets not pretend they joined to help out. It was their own personal interests/security
