I chose to get it done under local because it was 2k cheaper than general and I would be able to tell my girlfriend when to record and take pictures.

Why were you awake during the surgery? I couldn't handle actual surgery like that with just local anesthesia. Would have to be placed under general so I could be knocked out.

For those saying he didn't have gyno, they pulled out two large cookie sized chunks. Now op can go nuts on the supplements without worry. Good preventative measure imo.

watch how you eat so it doesnt come back, because it can and will. Removing dairy, lower estrogen levels made mine go from a couple inches across to penny size. Some of that is fat as well so dropping BF% would help too.

did you keep them as souvenirs?

I still don't really see the need for the surgery. If you were under 10% bf and still had weird looking nipples, then you'd have a problem. But pretty much everyone has puffy nipples when they have higher bodyfat, especially when they don't have as much muscle mass.

Wait it can come back? I thought once you removed the mass it can't grow back because there is nothing for the excess estrogen to bind to (to promote tissue growth).

You had me worried-- I had gyno surgery 6 months ago and still have milk.

Do you have any evidence that milk can cause gyno?

He may be talking about normal circumstances. There are many medications that can cause breast tissue enlargement in men. A common one is the diuretic Lasix. Also, certain medical conditions (some that usually come later in life) can also cause gyno.

Had the same surgery in '09. My gyno has come back because of a liver condition and the use of medications to treat the side-effects.

Wtf. Why are meds that grow teddies on men still on the market? That chit should be banned. Imagine if meds grew dicks in women the company would have been sued to the grave decades ago.

Lol I hear ya, but it's all about the risk:reward. For someone with my condition, they tend to develop a lot of fluid retention as the liver is not functioning well enough to keep protein in the body. Lack of protein allows fluids to seep into the surrounding tissues > swollen parts, ascites, etc. I saw my doc a few weeks ago and he told me about a guy with the same/similar condition that now, at the age of 45, has to wear a bra because of all the swelling and development of breast tissue (whether from the meds or liver condition).
