Things are.... okay.

We tried to "compromise" and adopt an adult lab. It fought with her dogs almost immediately when the adoption agency brought it over to do the home check, so that didn't work out. I currently have a deposit down on a great dane / wolfhound mix pup that's going to be ready to adopt in a few weeks. I'm hoping since it's not purebred and easy to identify, she won't realize it's such a big dog until it's too late.

Other than that, we found out the kid is going to be a boy. He's due in March.

Wife came across all of my Catbrah diaries videos and made me take them down, for fear someone she knows would see them. This caused a big fight.

Because there are only three possible ways this can end, and they all have negative effects on someone who isn't you, just so you can get another dog.

First is when she finds it you lied to her about the size she feels tricked, lied to, and trapped but decides to stay for the kid and be resentful

Or

When she finds out you tricked her she'll divorce you like you were thinking she might before, which will suck for the kid.

Or

When she finds out you tricked her she'll ask you to re-home it and you'll say yes like you did with the cats, which will suck for the dog.

Those are the only three possible scenarios that I see, and they are all negative, but you're doing it anyway because it will make you briefly happy.
