Games like Horizon, The Last of Us, Witcher 3 just captivate my interest. I spent hours in each 1 just exploring the unknown worlds to discover new things and learn about them. Metro Exodus, Red Dead 2, and Days gone are other games I can't wait to play, because its just a whole new world. Gonna explore the hell out of all em. Mario kart, Donkey Kong, etc doesn't do that for me

Metroid is the only game I can see competiting with the above, otherwise there's no contest.

Didn't PC players have to beg for some games? I recall gta 5, but there are others PC players were begging for. And GTA online became a major success thanks to hardware on PlayStation and Xbox, otherwise what we have today wouldn't have been possible. Nintendo is just now getting GTA 5 which was released in 2013





These is much better than Mario. Story, Suspense, Gameplay, Graphics

So true, totally forgot. I do remember the NES GTA now, though a GTA didn't really captivate me til GTA Vice City on, whatever it was on, PS? PS2 perhaps.

PC Master Race here too but my PC has been collecting dust since the Switch came out boyo.

i tried the x and Y and ORAS, and while it was good and refreshing i felt the console was still too slow interacting with others online, lost interest quickly due to that fact even though the game and storyline's are good, lets hope this one is more efficient in the pvp department because that's really the long term fun, didn't bother with sun and moon.

adding non exclusives do not make nintendo better. All of them are partially about visuals and beauty and nintendo is killing that since it cant handle anything newer than something from 2011-2012.

If you would have only put exclusives aka mario and zelda stuff, than yes, nintendo is killing it since it pulls on Nostalgia strings 99% of the time.

Id laugh at a person that said they were excited about non exclusives on nintendo, they will look like sh*t in comparison. Just tell us your excited to play the switch for Mario Kart, Odyssey, Zelda, or something else thats exclusive.

The whole graphics argument makes me laugh.

I can't speak for everyone of course, but personally, I don't see anything "horrible" or "outdated" about 720p. I bought a 1080p tv the day they came out and really couldn't tell the difference.

People act like because it isn't 4k, we are talking about NES 8 bit graphics or something. Just because it isn't state of the art does not make it awful, it's a spectrum. I was playing Zelda yesterday and was saying to myself "can't believe people call this old and weak, performance wise. It's not as powerful as an XBOX one or PS4, but it's not some weak gimmick either, games look great on the Switch. I'm not going to pause the game, go count pixels, and be like "nah, this is a step down from 1080, 4k, whatever, can't play it". That's really looking for a reason to not fux with it, and if you are actively looking for a reason to not use/buy something, then you are already going about it the wrong way.

I remember when I got a Game Boy as a kid, I wasn't like "damn, this isn't no SNES, can't fux with it, weak graphics". I was elated to play what was basically a portable NES with no color. It was great!

I think there are times when it's reasonable to complain about graphics and performance, but when it comes to the Switch, I feel most peeps are just flat out nitpicking. Again, after a certain point, you really have to be looking for flaws to notice a degradation. It's one thing if we're talking about a home theater system. But games? I'm too busy trying to log on to BF1 on my XBOX and jump into a game lobby queue to worry about specs, and the only specs I really trip on when it comes to gaming on consoles is ping/FPS, and even then, there needs to be a hiccup drastic enough that if affects my performance in game, i.e. a death that should have not occurred due to lag, for me to get frustrated about it.

funny thing is, the Switch v2 will look even better graphically. graphics are hitting a wall with the other consoles, that is why they continue to still sell the PS3/PS4 together because the PS4 isn't worth upgrading to alone for most people. Hardly anyone will buy a PS5 as they'll stick with the PS4. LoL at PS4.5 Pro that is out to rinse users for some dollars.

but the Switch v2 will be a sell out, nvidia will have a new graphics chip exclusively for Nintendo. a better screen. more games. nintendo is onto a winner.

no doubt sony and MS will go down the hybrid route in the future and copy nintendo like they always do.

If the Switch was just a home console, many people would probably not care about all these third party games. However, since the Switchisportable, people are excited about being able to play some of their favorite games on the go. However, since the Switchisportable, people are excited about being able to play some of their favorite games on the go. Nintendo is for kids.

End of the day, numbers don't lie, Sony will always be in the lead on strictly exclusives alone. While Nintendo releases the same kid games, I have plenty of new refreshing Ips to play, along with not having to wait 4 years to play 3rd party games. Crazy how we went from Killzone to Horizon Zero Dawn. And now we're going from Metal Gear Solid to Death Stranding

Lol, the Ps4 is on route to do Ps2 numbers, the best selling console to date. After the mistake with Ps3 and learning from it, Sony is literally unstoppable. You're not catching them with that winning formula. Hell Nintendo doesn't even have VR. They're JUST now catching up with hardware and online games.

End of the day, numbers don't lie, Sony will always be in the lead on strictly exclusives alone. While Nintendo releases the same kid games, I have plenty of new refreshing Ips to play, along with not having to wait 4 years to play 3rd party games. Crazy how we went from Killzone to Horizon Zero Dawn. And now we're going from Metal Gear Solid to Death Stranding
pretty games with 0 substance. i remember when one MGS game and could be completed in 5 hours if you skipped cutscenes. well worth the 60 bucks. oh and great replay value. (lol)
