Yeah I have to admit this is pretty despicable / perverted if the guy is claiming to be a female to just go in to women's locker rooms to perv at them whilst they're changing. No white knight here, but that's a pretty low move.

If you have a functional penis you should not be in the women's room, period.

If you get sexually harassed you could technically sue the gym for endangering your life.

If I was paying $200 / mo for a gym membership in ****ty NYC, I wouldn't be putting up with that bull****. Had an Equinox membership in NY back and I thought the gay dudes looking at me constantly in the locker rooms were bad enough. Vast majority of Equinox members are gay dudes.

I agree with OP - that the locker room should be segregated. But look, I lived in Berlin for a while and at their high end resort/gyms, roughly EUR 150 a month, female cleaner/locker room attendants would enter the male change room and pick up towels etc., while you would be (as a man) naked in the room. Their saunas are 'naked only' - you can wear a towel, but no swimming trunks etc. The fancy gym I went to had a female only sauna area but plenty used the mixed (gender) one.

It's an interesting thing to agree with the OP in principle but be someone who "got over nudity" rather quickly. And yes, women commented and so on. For example, I didn't realize my partner at the time really scratched my back a lot and left these bloody grooves, and one of the cleaning ladies asked what happened and when I saw (in a mirror) what had happened I said "guess that's a German woman's mark" and she laughed - I was simply standing there naked.

reverse the scenario. a male cleaning attendant enters the female only locker room. Makes a sexual remark about a nude female customer. Protesters would be outside the building demanding it burned down.

A lot of this pc crap came out of the feminist movement. TBH kind of glad to see it flipped around and coming back to bite women. Most guys won't gaf on the off chance some female (who identifies as a male) decides to use the male locker room.

Same in Japan. At their onsens/hot springs men are naked walking into and out of the hot baths with female employees sweeping and cleaning in the areas.

There may not be anything the manager can do but there is certainly something you can do: ask for a refund.

Unless that was the policy when you joined (and its in the contract) no one can force you to accept gender transfers as the original.

Tell the management to build them a separate space and you may consider staying.
