Is this a troll thread or what? Claim to have tried self-improvement yet your dad pays for your life.

As far as I'm concerned you're on step 0 of self-improvement. Step 1 is learning how to survive without your dad's money in your 30's.

I guess the misc is tired of doing that also. I did gym for 8 years on and off and gave up after the gym/body/mind psychology went beyond exhaustion.

Alot of info/inspiration out there is from steroid users. Naturals have to be more selective and careful in their training if they want to maintain it indefinitely. Keep lifting and yes try Meetup, don't be afraid to meet new people and make new experiences.

Companionship really is an important part to happiness though. Maybe you need to just try lowering your standards and go with a whale brah just make sure it's one you enjoy spending time with

I thought you said you worked for your dad? Can you learn to explain yourself properly please?

Obviously you have no social skills. Learn how to get along with dudes. Then learn how to get along with chicks. Then learn how to bangs chicks.

Easy as 1-2-3 boyo.

Yes i do work for my dad. But it doesnt count as a proper/respectable employment or does it? Few years ago when i started i was immature, i was crazy over all the money flowing over me, then i worked harder thinking i will become an owner someday. Now even if i do, something inside me doesnt accept it and probably everything legal will get in the way. Yes i do want to make my own mark but i dont know where to begin and cant even run away due to family emotional reasons.

I know that feel bro.

There isn't much you can do except keep trying to make your own way. People will make fun of you about it and try to goad you into killing yourself. Just do your best until you decide to finally give up. That's all any of us can do tbh.

You could be right. But i have more problems then that, no career to begin with, lost all friends due to that. Got bored of all my hobbies. I do enjoy drinking beer sometimes, but its just the beer rush that lasts for 5 minutes which is an incredible feeling no doubt.

Ended up smoking loads due to all this which is something i wanna quit soon. Have plans to buy many gaming consoles and a gaming laptop then lock myself up for 16 hours everyday till ive ended all my bad habits and negativity. Will find better ways after that such as meditation and spirituality.

Yes people bullying and picking on me is where its all wrong. They will drag me down or anyone else no matter what, i just faced it a lot more. But no way suicide or snap is an option here, cant even think of doing that since its not the way out.

gaming won't fix your bad habits

gaming IS a bad habit

I'm not sure you will ever really be able to fix your life. Mine is similar. My suggestion is to try your best to obtain some employable skills. While it is still unlikely that you will find work, it will slightly improve your chances.

bruh you need therapy ASAP

trust me im not saying this to be negative, it will help you get a different perspective on life.

you dont have good reasoning skills, and your very limited in the way you think due to being alone all the time

you need interaction to fuel perspective. without perspective you will stay in the same chit hole you are in now

Really if you ask me if i enjoyed my life despite all the hurdles, i would say 100% absolutely and excreted as much happiness as i could. But it got to a point when everything became old and i realized i had to move on and face the world as a man with success but there was no such core to begin with. Now its just a dead end in an empty hollow even if i am enjoying whatever is in the moment. You can probably say 'i lost touch with reality' or i was born unreal?

I will agree with you socializing is very important. But like i said 'dont know where to begin with' means people dont want to talk with me or be friends with me due to all the loneliness and self imposed misery, the lonely part has gotten to a point where it has started to reflect on my appearence and personality.

Your #1 priority should be finding a job. I'm in a similar situation. Been dicking around in grad school. At work, you will make friends and get money, which will enable you to secure some degree of independence. So that is step one.

You will need to try to obtain some employable skills. If you're like me and not very employable, then you are likely phucked. It sucks because everyone requires ridiculous experience and very specific skills and certifications which you can't get unless you already work in that field. I learned so much math and science, but it is all useless because I don't have 5 years of SAS and SQL skills along with whatever the fuk agile certification is (examples from a data science job I saw posted today.). I also don't have a teaching license and they take forever to get so I basically just freelance tutor part time.

I look at every industry and it is a phucking joke how they pretend this country is a capitalist society when every industry is dominated by a handful of firms and there are ridiculous government regulations/certifications and private barriers to entry that prevent you from competing. I also lol when average Joe C student engineer who doesn't know what a hilbert space is puts "finite element analysis" on his resume and gets a job because he has an engineering degree. Meanwhile I studied the chit in detail, and the only jobs possible for me would be available after I wasted time getting a phd and a post doc and pay half as much. Our society rewards those who conform to its rules and structure or do/have something which is highly desired by other people. How rich you get is basically a function of these two things.

You say it is not an option, but it honestly is one, and I can tell you will probably choose to use it one day. I know I will. I have given myself until age 30 to fix things. After that, I'm probably loggin off to go lift with zyzz and the pianoman.

Regarding girls, don't even try. I was seeing this girl kind of off and on for the last 2 months, and she basically told me in no uncertain terms that she doesn't want a relationship with me because I am a loser basically. She said it in a kinder way, but it was because I can't really provide for a kid. It's the truth, and I don't blame her. It's the worst situation in the world knowing you just can't break out of something because the decision hinges entirely on the actions of other people. Some of us cannot win. We will never be given an opportunity, and we will rot and die. Such is life for Timothy.

This is what happens when your society is no longer economically free. Men who want to work cannot find decent jobs. I could go work at fuking starbucks, but then why the fuk did I waste my whole life studying math and science? Phuck this chit. Anyone reading this PLZ go into engineering or comp sci. Do not EVER follow your passion. The scientist shortage is a phucking myth. There are phds washing glassware or working as adjuncts for what amounts to minimum wage.

GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN

Interesting details there. I finished my masters in 2012, and after a few job rejections and job interviews totally gave up. I mean how many rejections can i take. Then i continued my partying lifestyle and gaming and gym hobbies for a few more years just to kill time but now even that all is not working. Its pretty much rotting all the way from here on and thats as real as it can get. Hard part is how to convince my parents that its ok to rot and if the family inheritance can last for very long.

It won't last long, and you are basically phucked. You can try to go into business for yourself. That's kind of what I ended up doing, but it isn't going so well. Life is chit mane. You just have to try until you can't anymore. Like i said, best thing you can do is just start trying to build something relevant on resume that would lead to the career you want. There is no guarantee it will even help, but it is at least a step in the right direction.

Quitting drinking/smoking is also a good step. Gaming is a step backwards. Trust me. Use your time wisely to improve your chances even if marginally.

Its just so hard to quit smoking/drinking and gaming despite hating it all the time. I mean i wake up with nothing to look forward to in life except to think how am i going to kill the 16 hours of the day. Then comes in the cigarettes and tea for few hours, drinking and music yeah sure i can party alone for 3 hours. I can play online gaming for 3 hours. Rest i can eat and shower. Sure it all sounds depressing but then what else am i gonna do. 16 hours lie down on bed? I have worked in family business for 12 hours a day nonstop sometimes, nothing wrong with me when it comes to effort, energy, stamina and hard work ethic. But whats the point when it amounts to nothing except for a few beers at some luxury bar or a fine buffet at some 5 star hotel. Trust me everything has become boring and old for me.

CV? I have done it all. I dont know why would someone not employ me. Are they scared of me? Why?

Spend those hours learning some software skills. Write some projects -- basically do anything productive rather than just playing games. People won't hire you because you lack xp, and you are a loser like me. Once you are labeled as a loser, it is very difficult to prove them wrong. Getting a job is a lot like dating. Prior success is the #1 most attractive thing in a candidate.
