So you should know each other well, sometimes we have to ask questions that we are uncomfortable with, even questions we already know the answer to but just want to hear the words be spoken from our SO, chit might get uncomfortable, but you need to talk with him and lay everything down, as all the questions, even ones you don't want answers to, and be ready to be asked the same. Wish you the best, and hope whatever the outcome is that you get the truth.

You're hinting at the issue.

How does he want to be treated?
How do you treat him.

It's hard to explain..its like he thinks the more he gives the more he deserves back.. he gives a lot but i also have two kids and my own household to look after.. he wants me to cook him dinners, clean his house and what not but we dont live together, i should add that i do go clean his house and cook him dinners, it just doesnt happen on a daily basis.. its a lot on my plate, but he doesnt seem to understand. anyways i think he gave so much of his "love", didnt receive back what he thought was due to him and now he has found someone else that seems great at first, but will also not live up to his expectations.

It doesn't matter if it's unreasonable to you. If he wants to date someone who cooks and cleans daily, either have to do it or he has to compromise. You can't both have what you want, so someone has to give in, it's as simple as that.

Btw I say this as someone who cooks most often in my relationship, although she does the dishes and nearly every other household type of chores (i.e. cleaning and laundry). The expectations he has may not always seem reasonable to you, but you have to accept that it's what he's asking for.

lol'ed at "giving his love" btw, this dude is kind of cool actually. He's taking you to poundtown and making you cook for him 7 nights a week because he gave you his sweet lovin, while you're trying to take care of 2 kids? Must have a pretty good dik game. Fukin mirin.

It's unreasonable for him to expect domestic stuff other than once in a while if you don't live together.

In all seriousness for him to start acting that way all the sudden out of the blue chances are he's talking to someone else. Better to cut it off now

Let's be honest here even supermom wouldn't be able to run 2 households. You don't live together. If he's really worried about a clean house and cooked meals on a daily basis tell him to hire a fukin maid.

Sometimes people want something in a relationship that you might deem unreasonable. Doesn't mean they're not entitled to want what they want. She may not be the right one to provide that for him, but some people (both men and women) can choose to take on more of the domestic duties.

Well everyone deserves to have the same amount back while being a relationship. He's expecting you to be the traditional woman that he can count on. With the way you speak about it, seems like you already withdrew yourself from the relationship.

You have a two choices OP.

-Ask him to move in so it's easier to do the cleaning, cooking, etc
-Break it off with him because you can't balance children and taking care of a grown man at his place.

Take on more of the domestic duties? She take care of ALL the domestic duties at her own home with her own two children and is still managing to do what she can at his home for him. He knew that right from the beginning and is just now deciding that her efforts are simply not enough.

Michelle I suggest you drop that guy. You don’t need anybody who seems like a selfish brat. You are already doing so much and going out of your way

So she should be responsible for all domestic duties in 2 homes 7 days a week?

You have to speak to him about your issues because it is obviously affecting you. Have you actually sat him down and had a conversation with him? People do not suddenly change usually they change because they want to get out of a relationship, or something at work is stressing them out or it could be something has happened in his family. Have you asked him how his job is going or if anything is stressing him out?

He would. He's most likely using OP as a maid and cheating since he knows that she'll be busy with the other household. OP is better off finding a man that can comprehend her situation.

Yes it is unreasonable.

If you as a person have an unreasonable expectation for relationships that less than .5% of the world would think is acceptable then you need to be told so so you can change your beliefs.

You don't get to just stomp your feet and whine you want something as an adult. It doesn't work when you're four nor will it bode well now.
