James Bond will always be white. Why? Because if they made him anything else, they will not be able to sell the movie in a foreign market like China. Hollywood is not going to mess around with a property like James Bond.

Bad analogue, the most popular spy franchises are centered on the main characters, surrounded by a supporting cast which may change from movie to movie.

Bond is about Bond (and M and Q an Moneypenny and the chicks, gadgets and alcoholism), Jack Ryan about Jack Ryan (and political drama), Mission: Impossible movies about Ethan Hunt (and Luther and Benji and some chick and recently Renner), and Bourne about Bourne.

Star Wars on the other hand, is almost a blank slate compared to these.

Looks like these movie producers haven't learned from the complete failure that was Ghostbusters. Even if they did choose a woman it would have to be called something like "jamie bond". Sounds stupid as phuck

The two highest-grossing Bond movies (Skyfall and Spectre) had Bond basically #metooing an exploited former child sex slave in the shower - who later gets offed by the ambiguously homo villain -, and in the next movie, boning the widow of the guy he killed in the opening scene.

Don't forget, Tom Hiddleston was rejected as James Bond by Barbara for not being a tough badass. The producers know that the franchise would burn to the ground if they caved in to the sjw *******s who are too broke to even go to the movies.

personally i wouldnt mind a black 007 as Daniel Craig himself doesnt really look like James Bond is described in the Novels by Flemming, also a guy like Idris Elba would kill it 100%.

Actually hope they do tbh (fleshed out female side character). Casino Royale was the best Bond easily, and lots of that was because of the dynamic between Bond and Vesper Lynd (hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng eva green)

I still can't believe they managed to completely fuk up Spectre after hiring Christoph Waltz as Blofeld aka THE Bond villain, and Andrew Scott as a side villain. Probably the greatest Bond opening scene followed up by bland boring ass bullchit and an absolutely terrible ending.

Dave Bautista was also underused, shame because I think he had the potential of being a real badass henchman - he was pretty good concerning what he had to work with - and a great action movie actor. Much better than Dwayne Johnson.

Openly gay actor Luke Evans, he could still cater to the new diverse ****gy times yet still be masculine, his voice is aesthetic AF, hnnng (obv will speak in an English accent for Bond, not his native Welsh)
