As much as I'd love to bash this sloot, I think she is just naive, and she doesn't really understand how the world works. Sloots like this are used to getting everything in life for free. (Bernie supporters lol.) They don't understand how offensive it is to not pay someone for services. And in the internet/social media age, there is a false sense of value attributed to exposure, followers, etc. While advertising revenue can translate to real money, it isn't necessarily as valuable as some people believe it to be. If her followers were worth that much, she could easily pay for the room. lol

yup, and when it comes to advertising, savvy business owners/marketers only invest in advertising that has a measurable return. obviously, there would be a way to get a measurable return from using an influencer (using a specific promo code or such), but depending on what the business's positioning is, it might just cheapen the perceived value of their brand/business. there's also the fact that they could probably get a better return by investing in their preferred advertising channel of choice vs. using this influencer and letting her stay free of charge (an audience of 80k is ridiculously small -- especially considering how it's a location-based business).

Ya she should just stick with getting free make up and foam rollers so she can use those on her channel. A hotel in Dublin isn't going to see any business because of her, thats for sure.

I feel horrible asking for anything free, even for non self-serving reasons/intentions. During university, I had to organize a charity auction for a big conference and had to ask around for donations--I totally felt like utter sht/scum doing it but at least the proceeds went towards a clinic that does research and works with people who have degenerative movement disorders. Least that is helping some people ...hopefully.
