this is brutal, wondering how the whole plan even began...

we have to assume the signs were there before this concert. this is straight sociopath behavior - if the girl was even close to normal she would've said "hey come with me", that or the OP in that thread is some ugly as sin troll looking mofo and she didn't want to be seen with him.

this happens to most guys at least once - there are tons of women who feel absolutely no empathy at all for how their actions affect others - pretty sure most of them are just dumb and lack awareness

Did he not like the band? Did he literally spend $150 on a ticket to a band he didn't even like? It sure sounds like he couldn't even enjoy the music unless he was getting to hang out with that chick.

The real kicker is... why didn't he just meet new people to hang out with, possibly even find a different girl at the concert? People are drinking, dancing, you already have something in common (liking the band you're all seeing).

somewhere somehow a social cue was missed. you don't go to a concert with someone 1 on 1 and have this happen to you if you are not autistic.

Yep. Also in this case her being his oneitis clouded his judgement and he missed things. But I've been there too (but not to this extreme). Giving a girl the benefit of the doubt or something and getting screwed for it.

Concert tickets sometimes go on sale 6 months or even a year in advance. I'm not making excuses for the sloot. What she did was inexcusable. Just saying that she could have had some level of interest in OP when this was planned out and things changed in the interim. She handled it like a complete kunt, tho

what's fishy tho is that if something did change or whatever like in your theory, wouldn't OP be in the know? like I swear this is some autistic level social cue mixing up... Wouldn't op be able to just say forget it and take someone else if things changed? wouldn't the girl if she knew him by even first name basis invite the guy to go over with her friends and have fun too.. its just weird and almost seems trolly. Without a doubt I would have left without her when she came back for her drink, no fuks given. Feel bad for the guy getting used like that but lesson learned hopefully.
