I knew a few guys that played college level football. We're talking about spending 2 hours per day lifting weights and about 4-6 hours per day doing sprints, agility drills, etc. every day.
You've also gotta combine that with the top 1% of physical genetics to make it to the NFL.

Just lol @ Rugby. Remember when that Aussie rugby star tried the NFL and was never more than just a punt returner/situational HB? Did he last more than one year?
Rugby is a great sport in comparison to like soccer... but in comparison to American football, American football is superior in every way. Sure Rugby players might have better endurance, but who gives a **** if they can run a faster mile when the average third string DB is much quicker and stronger.

Strong potato.
Put any NFL HB in a Rugby field and I'd guarantee they are the best players in the field. Put a guy like Todd Gurley or Fournette on the field and the skill difference would be absolutely ridiculous.

You don't get to that level unless you have superior genetics. Even college players are vastly superior genetically to their peers. And NFL are the very best of the college players. It's not just hard work etc, it's genetic superiority.

I expected him to be heavier here. Maybe that's his on-season weight and the picture is off-season?
