FWIW, basic training is where a lot of people get their first exposure to this kind of adversity. Nobody handles it perfectly, some just handle it more visibly than others.

And some people say "eff this, I quit" without ever shedding a tear... and some people start crying in their first couple days, and stick it out, and learn to handle the stress and make it through.
