Age 39. I have about 5 cups of coffee (or similar caffeinated drinks a day). I also sleep like chit every night. But I'm still not tired.

One cup of coffee in the morning.
I wake up at 6am latest, sometimes skate(board) in the morning or practice drums (studio across the street) and work from 8am to 4pm. Go to the gym for an hour at 2pm. Get home and look after my toddler until 9pm. Wife comes home and chill with her until 11pm. Asleep by midnight latest.
No grogginess, no naps, no yawning...don't know what your problem is OP, I am 45 and feel my age.

up @ 4AM crew. more wore out than tired, but when I hit the pillow at night its over. also have two young kids, sleep has been a precious commodity in our home.
try tapering your caffeine intake over the next week or two. sometimes i need a good reset and my tolerance goes way back down.

Don't agree with fundamentals of sleep so always tired crew.
Usually get about 5-6 hours, have two coffee's throughout day.

I'll be 31 in a few weeks and right now it entirely depends on how much sleep I get. If i can get 7-8 I won't be tired till around 930pm unless I eat a giant lunch. Any less and I'll be dragging most of the day but I've kind of always been that way.
I don't drink any coffee but I will have 1 cup of english breakfast tea in the morning around 9:30am and one 100mg caffeine pill as a preworkout around 4:30pm.

I think the biggest thing for me as I've gotten older is that I wake up not because I'm ready to wake up but because I'm sore from lying in bed. Usually either hips or shoulders. I rotate from sleeping on my left side to my right side many times a night but I still get sore.

Reading your post makes me realize she is right...I feel old at 45 doing what I'm doing...if I was doing what you are doing I would feel 85. You'd better change some sh*t up boyo...you ain't getting younger and it will only get worse...your starting point of decline sucks balls.

I work 6am to 6pm. I’ll have a large coffee in he morning. Then at noon I’ll eat lunch and sometimes nap. Then I’ll have a medium in the afternoon.
Then some pre workout at 6 before the gym.
I am literally tired all the time. Is this being old or am I RIP?

Stop being a bitch, get up early to lift and allow yourself one coffee or energy drink in the morning. Your quality of life will go way up

I'm 35.
Only times I get tired:
If I eat heavy meals (like lots of meat, or potatoes, carbs (bread etc))
When I crash (like say from coffee)
Other than that I function just fine with 6-8 hours of sleep (or even less), no coffee, etc.

Are you sitting on your ass for 4+ hours every day? You need to move your body around. Go for 5min walks multiple times per day. Breathe deeply.

I haven't had coffee for yonks and it doesn't affect me.
I still have more energy than most 20-25 year olds based on observation.
I look forward to being able to sprint/jog because why not when I'm 40.

It is not so much the major events as the small day-to-day decisions that map the course of our living. . . Our lives are, in reality, the sum total of our seemingly unimportant decisions and of our capacity to live by those decisions. ― Gordon B. Hinckley
