I fully disagree with the bolded. I think it's equal for both men and women who are caught cheating. The problem is that what the woman in the OP did is not cheating. It was with approval from the husband. That's not cheating. I think open marriages are bullchit and i would never be in one from either side. If you can't be faithful to your spouse then you shouldn't be married. Just be single, date people and do whatever the heck you want. I don't know why that's such a hard concept.

I dont believe in marriage anyways. It puts so much pressure on a relationship. Like you need to tell someone else than your love interest that you love them. Like you cant be married without love.

I know people with open relationships, they are not crazy, so i have nothing against the concept. except i wouldnt want the kids to see it

Just further supports my point. If you're a woman who can't lock down a 20% man, why not take this 80% guy, use him for what you can, and take the scraps from the alpha 20% top tier man?
People do what is in their best interests, and it seems currently, the social structure we have, there is very little reason for a woman to stay in a life long relationship with the 80% man.

To do the male equivalent, it would be like staying with a 3/10 who cooks/clean/takes care of kids/ never talks out of place complains (basically a robot), but you still go out and hit the bars/tinder and slay hot women.
Women just are deciding this is preferable to them.
