Something similar have happened to me. Me, my gf and my friend with his gf were eating nice dinner, while some drunk fools were sitting behind us. Eventually they started talking ****, like come join us to one of our girls, caught him looking said what the **** you looking at ******* or some **** , he got mad AF stood up so I stood up too, he approached me like inch from my face and I just stared into his eyes waiting for him to do something, dude turned around and left bar with his buddies... idk if I did right but all place was relieved they left

Couple things:
1. Guys always look/glance at my fiancee. She's 5'9 fit, very pretty face. Thing is, when they look at her and see me with her, no one dares to look long or stare. They actually look defeated after they see me. When i was single and would check out other girls that were with their boyfriend or husband, whenever i perceived him to not be a threat i would look at her with impunity. Based on this, my thought is he didn't see you as a threat and was more than willing to try to get your girls attention irregardless of you.
2. I'm guessing she was wearing revealing clothing or trying to dress sexy. I never let me fiancee dress that way unless we're alone together. There's no need for a girl to show off what should be for your eyes only, and it just leads to situations like this. He's staring at her because obviously she triggered his sexual desire. No one stares at a girl that long because she has a pretty face...
3. You did the right thing but not saying anything. Best case scenario, you cuss the guy out and the rest of the dinner is awkward and she'll probably figure out some way to be mad at you. She might feel that you're insecure and don't trust her. Worst case scenario is you get your ass kicked by this guy and his buddies and now you look like a puss in front of your girlfriend. I had the same thing happen to me in reverse in Georgetown a week ago.
I was doing a furniture job and this woman was walking down the street and I didn't notice her husband I was locked in on her.
So the husband sees me laughs and goes up to his wife and says that guy thinks you're hot.
I smile at and give him the hey man you're woman is smoking look and that was that.
Jesus you guys blow things out of proportion.
When she said that guy is staring at me the correct response would be, I don't blame him, look at your sexy little ass. I can't wait to get you home.
She would have laughed all tension would have broken and you would have gone on with a nice evening.

I don't necessarily encourage it like that cuck in your story did, but I will give the guy a chance to be cool about it, as opposed to immediately going on the offensive. Always notice guys giving my girl a look at festivals, bars, moving through club crowds, etc. Usually give them the upward bro nod typically reserved for closer male friends. If they're cool, they'll give me one back and we exchange a knowing glance I'll be putting in work later. If they're ****s, they'll avoid eye contact or turn away acting like they weren't doing anything. Those are usually the guys who I catch staring creepily later on, or who try to force conversation with her when I'm standing right there.

First of all you need to tell her not to look at him again until you say so. You then need to also not look at him, but at the same time keep him in the corner of your eye so you can see him the next time he looks over.
What you then do is put your arm around her like this.
The second you see him look at her again you bring your hand up to her face without looking at him and give him the finger or just keep your had on her shoulder and do it.
I did this once when i caught a guy looking at my bulge, he looks over and instead of seeing my bulge he sees me giving him the finger in front of my bulge which snapped him right out of it.
