Didn’t read a single reply...define ego lift.
My chick loves it when I attack some weight in the gym...of course I’m strong enough to do it so maybe it’s not my business.

But regardless, your physique is gonna be noticed before the weight you lift anyways. Only a small niche group of females care about the amount of weight you lift, and typically they are powerlifters themselves.

You’re talking about guys who are overfat thinking it helps that lift heavier? If yes, then I agree.
This is a bit of a size queen of me to say, but I do care a little how much a guy can lift in the sense that they need to be able to back up their talk. I don’t ask, but if I’m dating someone and they try to subtly brag about the weight they can lift, numbers better be actually impressive. Actually happened on a date once where the guy mentioned how he can incline dB bench 60 lb for a few reps. I wasn’t impressed so I didn’t say anything. He followed up with do you see a lot of guys lifting that kind of weights? Told him not a lot but it’s not a number I’d write home about.

IF i was to compare myself to the average gym goer then id say i have the advantage in terms of muscle mass/overall look.. But yet i can barely lift a single weight for my chest because i had surgery not long ago.. Don't give any chits tho because once you're out the gym no one gives a fk.

Why would you tell a woman how much you lift? Unless she's one of these rare fitness chicks who has any compass about strength it would be be like explaining math to a mouse.

I don't lift for girls though. I lift heavy cuz I like it. I'm think somewhat aesthetic for a powerlifter so I'm fine. I could probably be more aesthetic though

[QUOTE=ssilv;1560915321]Brb dude I didn't know eating myself into oblivion just to lift heavier without caring about anything else was a way of bettering myself.
Ever heard of lineman? Sumo wrestlers? Heavyweights in grappling or combat sports? Not everyone who's a very good athlete has a god tier physique. You also used a dude who's a 1% outlier in how big and fat he is to prove your statement. Plenty of really good athletes who don't have great physiques whether it's due to genetics or diet or both. Some peoples lives don't revolve around what girls think.
