cars are cool.
but i don't obsess over them, and i wouldn't spend a fortune on one (or accessories, extra chit that you don't need)

most i'd probably spend is a really good sound system / subwoofer ... idgaf about that actual performance of the car as long as it gets me from point A to point B, saves gas, and doesn't look like a clown/girl ride.

having knowledge of maintenance, being able to fix minor things, and a universal idea of what needs to be fixed and how much the repairs will be is really important for any man (so you don't get ripped off at the auto shop)

I bought it like that. Was a budget car. Not taking it off because I really don't care in the mean time until I start making real money.

Well actually, he said it sounded good, compared to my other car which actually had a hole in the exhaust. My grandmother likes it too. Cold start it's growling and then once warmed up it's pretty quiet at idle.

I have the GS430. That's also a performance variant.

ES, LS, GX are your quiet luxury cruisers. Was very temped to buy a LS. That smooth smooth quiet ride and comfy interior. Would never make that loud.

I'm not into having a loud car anymore. It's just annoying as hell. I also don't like messing with engines because I want the car to be as reliable as possible.

I'd rather just have a nice set of aftermarket wheels, quality coilovers, and lower to a moderate height.

Exhaust (non intake) mods hardly affect engine reliability? lol

Also, I hate driving behind lowered cars while they take 5 minutes going over a raised/sloped surface... annoying as hell.
