During 2008, we were so close to the system falling apart.

This time around I sure it will, and its not going to be pretty. If one war, or global disaster occurs, the whole thing will fall apart like dominoes

worst case, i have a safe deposit box full of silver. its only 14 an ounce

im going 80% cash and 20% metal and wait for the dust to settle.

I have an econ degree, and i am a former financial advisor to HNW investors...so i have some idea of what im talking about...

he could it the 7th inning of the game.

the short/long debt cycle is purely created on credit. interest rates will keep slowly but surely rising so its not good at all.

Market timing doesn’t work.

You guys saying that you’re sitting on the sidelines just holding cash are going to regret that later in life.

Best of luck to all of you.

This is true as well. When I say people should hold cash, I dont mean that they shouldn't be maxing out an IRA like you said earlier ITT. No matter what happens. its smarter to max out your IRA first, and then hold the cash. You can absolutely do both and profit big when the crash does come

Country is humming along at 4% GDP and the Fed decides to raise the rates. Seems like they want us to fail.

I agree with you. Nothing wrong with holding some cash if it’s leftover from your primary investments. I was really just referring to people who are sitting out completely.

Well we are currently in the longest bull run in recorded history. So historically speaking we are overdue for a crash.

A lot of the world is already crashing. Look at the emerging markets, look at China, Greece, Turkey, Argentina, Brazil, ect. Look at precious metals. US stocks and the US dollar is the only thing staying strong right now. But as the Fed keeps raising interest rates lets see how long that can last.

I give until the political season really kicks off. Once it's clear that democrats are smashing the republicans in the midterms, the bottom will fall out like a prolapsed angus.

I've been buy buy buy up until... about this week. The market seems completely disconnected from reality, which to me is a sure sign of the danger zone. I hope we can make it another 2-3 years without a crash, but the chit winds are coming, Randy.
