Some of the furniture I got for my new place was ordered through my designer friend who's able to get the wholesale price and order in custom upholstery/materials for the stuff, the only caveat is these deliveries have to be made from the original furniture company to a storage facility/warehouse in the NYC area, then use another delivery company to get it to my place. So for all the stuff I basically had to pay 2 separate shipping & handling costs but it was worth it because of the quality for the furniture for the cost.

Wholeheartedly agree with you on the movers, will never bust my ass moving chit myself again.

Not at all. Decent square footage & location for that price. Mind=blown it's a bit more expensive than what you'd get in Atlanta in a comparable location/building though. Then again, 1000+sq feet apartments in high-rises are very rare here so I don't know.

I never live upstairs because I prefer not making more than 1 trip for groceries though. lazy/10

Velcro ties from devices. You can put one every few inches to keep it tight

Route them to raceways. Buy a cheap saw to cut the raceways too. There's no other way to cut it easily

The raceways have double-sided tape on them. White will already match your walls man.

For computer I use the velcro ties and this

Crazy, 2k/month is a no frills < 500sq foot studio in a lesser neighborhood.

There's exactly 9 1 BR's for rent in all of downtown Manhattan under 2k...look what you'd be getting for that. Not pretty.

Since we are on the suggestions route here's another... I also love plants in my house.

These are slick little shelves that'd look good in the new place. Any round shelf staggered like this would be nice man

Yeah the cost of living difference here vs NYC/San Fran/Seattle is crazy, 2-3k/mo gets you some legit stuff here.

I'm generally not a fan of flats, however that looks to be an awesome view. Would be quite something looking out of that on NYE or around Christmas period. Nice interior, although I must say, the thing with bright white walls is that dirt, stains and marks show so easily.
