I 100% did not believe that I'd ever be able to bench 225 when I first started lifting (150lbs DYEL) - today I hit it for a few reps. I'm honestly not sure if its "impossible" for some individuals to reach. They might never eat enough or train consistently to really see.

he said healthy, so obviously not midgets and hunchbacks...
every healthy man on earth has the potential to bench 225 iwht regular training and dieting. that not even up for debate.
even the biggest slack jawed nerd with pencil arms can do it with a strength routine and eating in a surplus.

And people often automatically equate short height to small frame size, which is ridiculous. I'm 184 cm tall and have very small wrists/ankles. I also know short people who have huge bones, really big wrists/ankles, meaning a large frame.
Frame size has NOTHING to do with height. There is no correlation, yet I see this error being made over and over again.

Let me tell you what benching 3 plates feels like.
Feels like warm apple pie. Feels like that smug feeling of Gmiscer driving home seeing his wife’s PT stranded behind him in his rear view mirror. Feels alpha as fuk

If I was bulking and actually focused on it, I would be bordering on 300 by now. Also I bench without any equipment.

Benching 225 is a pretty big number for most people (other than miscers of course thats just a warm up), id say less than 1% of all gym goers can bench 225 for reps
