That's fair, but dating pretty hot girls in their mid-20s being an option for another decade is a pretty good cope tbh. I think it's more so if you were doing well in your 20s you will likely also do well in your 30s with the same girls.

Actually, it's a very rational, and realistic position to hold. Your viable options have significantly decreased in your 40's. I don't care what kind of shape you're in, how much money you make, or what kind of car you drive, your pool is significantly smaller than it was in the decades before. 32 here. still have people thinking im in my mid 20's. Also get people thinking I still play college football. When your in your 20s you think 30 is so old. Then you get here and find out it doesnt really feel much different. Just a more mature version (hopefully) than what you used to be. Some people age like **** tho and look terrible in their 30s. too much partying and not enough taking care of yourself doesnt help you when you get this age. But if you maintain a healthy lifestyle, lift, ect at this age and remain in good shape, its pretty damn sweet. Younger guys (and girls) reading this, take care of yourselves, because as you get older, the payoff is HUGE. You will stand out from your peers as you get older.

It’s true when people are in their early 20s, late 20s seems super far away. They act like it’s a grossly old age way past youth.

That is a true paradigm that they see it that way. But it’s also in their nature to rebel lol, so dating a hot “older” 27 yr old seems bold and intense at that age, it does tempt them.

The thing is you gotta be so attractive, and that’s the boast, that despite that feeling they get of you being older, they still fuk with it. It’s like a test, can you be so attractive and charming that you can overcome that phenomenon.

It’s akin to defeating the passage of time itself, if only temporarily.

And if you can pass the test, the rewards can be quite delightful.
