I see what you did OP. Took the picture far away from the TV cables to avoid the roast. Get a cable management kit brah.

Painting doesn't do much for me but the place looks sick.

a series of short tasks over a relatively longer period of time is life. altruistic light moves under the cover of your own darkness.. find this inner torch bearer and accompany them to the end. we all walk together, but we all walk alone. there is no understanding or purpose beyond that

Are you going to hang it somewhere else or just leave it under the shelves like that. I really dislike that area that its in, the piece is whatever but the shape doesn’t flow with anything. I would move it or get a wider piece to out above the two shelves. Or just keep it and do you.

I work with artists and clients so I see hundreds of pieces like these a day.

Interesting feedback - what do you do brah? Very curious.

Also I have a Murakami Litho signed by the man himself on the ground next to it. Considered putting that there as its a bit wider.

I get where you're coming from brah. People who aren't into art will look at a Pollock which literally just looks like splattered paint, and wander why it is 170 million. People who aren't into watches will never understand why some would pay thousands for premium tier watches when a $100 Seiko can tell the time as well.

Also thanks, #plantgang

My background is in history so mostly museum/art/historical work but currently with the company I work for I do alot of client viewings. So whatever the client (buyers, appraisers, conservators, owners of art) would need. We are in SoCal so we have chit ton of work due to the museums, art galleries, and rich ppl throughout SoCal. Yesterday I had a client come in trying to decide whether he wanted to drop a couple mil on an Ed Ruscha.

There was/is a Jackson Pollack here. The squiggly paint chit you referred to. Awhile back these rich ppl, not filthy, I’d guess 10-20m per were looking at there Pollack piece that may or may not be real. They were trying to authenticate it, they say its real but I’d say that too if it were mine, if real its prob worth 200m+.

I don’t like 95% of art but its subjective. I think my fav era is Romanticisim 17th-18th century. I do like some Roy Lichenstein tho, the style of his work, looks similar to this artist Jozza.
