I had a nasty break up and we got back together. My advice, from my life experience, is literally go NC and move on with your life. Things will never be the same even if you get back together. The respect is gone and "injury" has been introduced into the relationship. The injury can be resolved but the respect will never come back.....You cant hear "I love you but Im not in love with you" from a person and have the relationship go back to what it was before. Listen to me - IT WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AND ITS OVER. You will never be able to fully come to terms with the fact that a women that claimed to "love" you was willing to break your heart and leave to find something better.

You will be tempted to get back together when she comes back - and she WILL come back. I would highly advise to move on because you are nothing more than a crutch when she returns. You will always be a second choice she settled on....She was willing to blow up your relationship and walk away because she felts something else better was out there. Do you really want to be tied to a person that views you as second best for the rest of your days? Do you really want her back after she goes and has her "wild" experiences.
