I also feel sorry for the women who've been lied to and told that their career is what matters, who put off having kids until it's too late, the women who have been brainwashed into taking pride in being tax cattle. I also feel sorry for any men who have put off kids for their careers for the same reason (just adding this to appease any subversive SJWs reading this who will scream "muh sexism")
Sad but true.

Instead of having the kids and grandkids over they’ll just check out their old vacation photos stored in the cloud. If they’re lucky they’ll even invite over some coworkers who’ll pretend to be interested in seeing them.

ITT you only have 2 options

a) Get married

b) Die alone and rot

You do realize you can date women, have a girlfriend, go on trips together, grow old together, without getting married and having kids, right?

Enjoy your crippling debt, your kids hating you, your Honda CRV and fat cheating wife and working until you're 80.

The married man cope is strong in here.

Who do you hear those horror stories from? Women. Women complain about every job. Just look at the female dominated positions like teachers. They make over the median income, are off 3 months a year and still complain. Another example would be nurses. They make well over the median with a 2 year education. Women just like to vent and complain sometimes. If you don't believe me just try and offer a solution to the problem and see how quick you get shut down. Kids can be work but are far more rewarding than any chitty 9-5 job and they are nowhere near as bad as some people make them out to be.

Managing to procreate is kind of an odd thing to feel smug about. Most people do it, you haven't achieved something groundbreaking.

I will agree with you on that. I am not fully ruling them out but I just know I am not ready to have one right now. I have so many things that I want to do without getting tied down with a child at this point like travelling, loans that I want paid off, and possible job relocations. Good thing is that my wife is 5 years younger so it gives me like another 5 years I can push it off because she is not ready at all either.

Yeah, I have relocated 4 times in the past 9 years for my career. I am open to relocating again and dont want to fully commit to an area because I have a child in school. I wouldnt want to put hypothetical kid through having to make new friends at school and chit.

Agreed OP. It’s one of the most cringe inducing, pathetically beta things that a man can unironically want to voluntarily end his bloodline. Absolutely degenerate and soyfilled train of thought. I pity them.

It's funny how people who messed up and had kids always try to act like they're better than everyone else. Enjoy your child support.

Having kids is the worst. They take up all your time and all your money. You wanna sit down and watch the football game? Nope. U wanna go out with your friends? Nope. It’s even worse when your friends are all kidless so they go out and do things without you all the time. I literally have 0 friends now.

But at the same time I get excited to wake up and see him. I’ve never loved anything as much as I love him.

It’s probably worse for me because I never wanted kids. I am not the greatest dad. I just want him to chill and watch golf with me. Not run around and play tag.

It’s as good as it is bad. Maybe a little bit more bad but I think as they get older the pendulum sways more toward good.
