Sorry for your loss brother. Not sure how much you want to talk about it so completely disregard my post if you want to. Did he have any head injuries recently? I worked with a woman whose son was in a small car accident with what seemed to be no injuries. Other than a little discomfort he was released from the hospital as fine. He complained of a headache a little later that evening and ended up going outside and shooting himself in the front yard. I also work with a guy whose daughter was in a car accident and it completely changed her whole personality. Your son also could’ve been on medications that lead to suicidal thoughts or just going through a tough time. Either way try to avoid going back and playing the “what if” game or blaming yourself. Lastly, there are support groups out there for people who’ve been through and are going through what’s you are so looking into those may be a good idea. I imagine that’s a burden no one can carry by themselves.

Sorry, OP. I know people blithely say "I can imagine what you're feeling" and don't know chit, but I was too close to somebody losing a son about that age. Hang in there and remember to eat, sleep, and breath for now.
Nah, fukk that. I’m not doing that.

Condolences. That's awful. Do know that whatever he had going on, all that stress and anxiety, that isn't bothering him now. Please do remember that and when times are chit and you're hurting over the situation, know that he's at peace now and opt to focus more on all the good that he brought to your life rather than his means of escaping pain. Head up in the darkest of times brah

As a father I cannot imagine going through this, deepest sympathies OP.

You mentioned medical leave, what was going on there? Work related injury or something else?
