She is a piece of chit no doubt but people saying she murdered the people in the car, must not know what murder is.

This is still triple manslaughter, DUI, and probably some serious negligence related charges since she was so fukking drunk she drove on the wrong side of the road. She'll probably get jail time, it won't be enough.

Also I remember reading about drunk drivers surviving crashes more often than sober drivers in part because they're so drunk they don't brace for impact which actually reduces trauma to the head and neck in most car crashes.

Feel obviously horrible for the family of the people that passed.. but am curious what must be going through that girls head right now. To wake up from basically being black out drunk to waking up handcuffed to a bed and being told you killed a family has gotta be nuts.

In this day and age with Uber and Lyft there really should be no excuse to drive drunk.

Zero sympathy for drunk drivers. Punishment for even getting caught should be significant jail time.

They should change the law to 25 years, no parole for first offence drunk driving. Fukk these pieces of **** who wipe out families and kill children because they are too irresponsible to find their way home safely.

No regard for human life, we should have no regard for theirs.

Divorced after a few months of marriage and drunk-driving on a party night, thank you feminism!

women can't be held responsible for their decisions when drunk though.

(j/k but I always bring up the drinking and driving example when people start talking rape because a woman had drinks - I am like yeah but she drinks and drives and you'll send her to jail huh)

What people need to realize is that being drunk isn't the main cause of danger. Driving like a jackass is the main cause of danger. Being drunk amplifies the risk from people who already drive unsafely. Those same people are still 80% as dangerous when they're sober. We all see them, they're the guys/gals who weave through tiny gaps at high speed even when there's a lot of cars on the road at rush hour or try to get from 0-60 as fast as they can at every red light.

"I absolutely cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend!'"

This phrase is the most cringe thing I've ever heard and every girl says it. They're really trying to convince themselves rather than everyone else.

She's certainly not going to want to live after knowing what she did. RIP victims.

I had a friend who was basically brain dead after a drunk driver hit her.

Never once drove drunk because of what happened to her.

Call a friend, walk home, call an Uber, calculate your BAC on an app and wait until it says you are sober, call family, have a designated driver, etc.

Honestly, if you can only afford to go out but not to get home, just stay at home.

This 100%, what an absolute selfish POS. People like that just can't get away with "I didn't mean it"

Hope this eats her up inside for the rest of her life, which would ideally be spent in a cell.

^^^I have an acquaintance that is a police officer (his wife tutors my daughter). He told me that DUI arrest have plummeted since UBER/LYFT.

He said that his department ramped up speed traps to acquire revenue and not to waste time to trying to talk yourself out of a ticket.
