Trophy hunters are complete *******s. Most of them are overweight baldcels trying to convince themselves they're alpha for killing such powerful animals. Take the gun away and those betas would scatter very quickly.

Also, anyone who buys meat at the store and bitches about hunting is a hypocrite.

This guy had no real reason to go and kill the big cat even if he wanted it meat. Why kill an endangered species?

Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

As for African Trophy hunts... Typically the animals are already marked for death. Why pay a game warden to do it when someone will pay 10's of thousands of dollars to do it?
Those funds lead to better protection from poachers and more funding for the reserve. Which saves the lions.
I don't see the thrill of African trophy hunts, but realize game management is extremely important for species.

Trophy hunting is for *******s...there’s not a lot of things that rile me up, but if I saw this going on in real life I would rage and really let them know how I feel!!

Would of been more impressed if he killed the lion with a knife. Shooting a sleeping animal must be hard

On the one hand, the lion is a threatened specie and an apex predator and because of that I don't think they should be killed just for the hell of it. Go hunt some deer or other prey animal that is overpopulated if you feel like hunting.
On the other hand, what would be the only real manly way to hunt an animal? When it's charging at you about to crush your skull? Is shooting a sleeping lion any different than shooting a lion 500 feet away just lounging in the grass?

I would have no problem shooting everyone who's defending this guy in the head while they were sleeping. Scum of the earth.

I'm all for hunting but not killing an endangered animal when it's meat won't cure cancer or do anything except feed a few people.
