Yeah, pretty much this.

If you are the type that gets drunk and does dumb **** dont come tho, types like this may not get back to their country ever.

wow, americans do have a weird image of what mexico really is.

Is not like you get beheaded walking down the street.

99% of people you see on your american news getting beheaded is people involved in those "bussiness"

I think you have a higher chance of being involved on a random terrorist attack on the united states than actually getting killed on mexico.

anyway, phuck you guys, we dont need your tourist money, *******s.

I spent 5 days in Cancun on spring break like 6 years ago, and I have to say while it was fun because its essentially a lawless state (if you catch my drift) its not so great if you get targeted for anything for example, maid broke right into our safe in the resort stole all our ****, police were like yeah it's pretty much a thing they do in those resorts, you're SOL. God damn is it not a place I'd go back too as there are many other much safer places in the Caribbean if you just want a tropical getaway lol.

Reconsider OP. A high school friend of mine was killed late last year while exploring Mexico, on his way to meet family waiting for him to meet them in Mexico City. Google Patrick Braxton-Andrew.

No, you actually have a higher chance of being killed by stray bullets if somebody important from a business is in the area where you are. Or even getting mugged and killed. they don't give a ****. Mexico is full of homeless and shady ass looking places, lol at being in areas like that

Also it's not like you guys (citizens) would get tourist money or funds to help you guys anyway, Mexican citizens never see that money.

Always lol at Mexicans trying to cover their chitty corrupt country.

I have been there 10 times in the last 5 years and it literally only gets worse.

I was there in playa del Carmen last year and within the three days I was there 1. Two dudes shot up a beach from a god damn jet ski, and 2. Some tourist lady from Canada was found stabbed to death on a dock.

The food is mediocre at best, and the people are rude and don’t care for anyone not from Mexico.

Go to Costa Rica or something where it’s safe and people are nice. Money goes further.

Hence why people crawl through the wilderness to leave.

Then it sounds like you either are lying to everyone in here or need to travel outside of that country for context.

truth is that you'll be safe with knowledge, common sense and emotional IQ. but if you're at a point where you have to ask people who probably have never been to Mexico whether it's a good idea to travel around there... don't do it.

None of the citizens of my country are crawling over fences to get to yours.

Nor are the citizens of my country cut people’s heads off over a plant we made legal.

That is where this debate ends. Enjoy your peso, boyo.
