edit: lol @ 40m time. this tells absolutely nothing... was this on a track? was this hand timed? wind aided? did he have a flying start? not to mention bolt is notoriously "slow" off the start. complete non-stat. Try again. This just confirms he has not and cannot run sub 9.58 in the 100. Facts gonna facts.

If you're making this comparison then why don't we just admit that Matt London is the fastest and hottest on the planet with his 10m dash world record?
umm... hello? did i say over 100m? i said they can sprint faster than olympians which they can? so i guess i actually am correct?

Except there literally isn't a sprint shorter than 60 meters in professional track and field. This is because it is not a long enough distance to determine who is faster. So no, sorry but your soccer players are not faster than Olympic sprinters until they race them on the track and beat them... which they can't. You're going off of an unofficial 4.42 40 meter time with zero information on how that was even determined and trying to use that to claim soccer players are faster than olympic sprinters in an event that doesn't even exist. Facts are facts. Take this L.

now you're just talking nonsense.

Half those dunks were not even his best IMO. He jumped OVER some 7' French dude in the Olympics or some type of international games.

He also cherry picked usain bolt who starts slower then every other sprinter due to his height then his pace picks up and crushes people.

overall athlete i tend to agree. MMA fighters may also deserve a mention.
us europeans will often put Ronaldo as the greatest overall athlete but then the americans will bring up Bo Jackson or something.

guys in the NFL/MLB etc might dominate in terms of power in 1 particular trait but otherwise the majority of them are just lumps with 1 string to their bow.

omg...

the length of a soccer field is 100m same for an nfl field, basketball is 28

there is no such thing as sprinting 100m unimpeded in a real sport so 40m is a perfect gauge for sprinting prowess and guess what? the 3 time olympic champ and wr holder gets absolutely murdered by soccer players that don't even have the optimal mechanics or body compisition to be competing with him, imagine if they actually had dedicated training in sprints like bolt, this guy would be a nobody...

srsly, you need to step it up if you wanna hang with me dude, i'm dealing with a schoolboy here...

did you know that in soccer guys who score penalties are considered scrubs? like literally no one is impressed by it... oh wait, ofc you didn't because you're an ignorant moron

you can't dunk because you're not 6'6, basketball is literally a skilless sport because they're playing with their hands, like wtf is even your logic

firstly, 40 yards = 36m so 4.42/40m> whatever these coping sub 40 times are

secondly, 40 dash is a quantifiable measurable used in combines so nfl players dedicate their time to train for sprints

there is no such thing as a combine in soccer so players never take this stuff srsly, they just do theses sprints as a casual joke in training...

Bruh im willing to bet there are plenty of football players faster than soccer players

As i said before often times the really fast guys, run track. Theyll "qualify" for the qualifier for the olympics but they dont represent their country in an olympic event

I have also heard them say that those guys are another level. E.g. the football player cant compete with someone solely doing sprinting

And then youre talking about bolt whom not only represented his country, he demolished competition and long standing world records

No non-sprinter would beat bolt

Now, you could maybe argue if the soccer player or football player trained sprinting they would.. But even then bolt broke sprinting records

I'm pretty sure the guys who get stuck playing soccer at the high school level are just manlets or too uncoordinated to play a real sport like baseball, basketball, football, hockey, or lacrosse.
