Why do these threads get posted every day and people just say the same thing about what caused it.

We all know the general answers - Internet, social media, online gaming, porn, women in the workforce, feminism, decline of religion, hook up culture, etc.

Yet nobody is having any valuable discussion about how to cope with it, more important since none of these things are going away

Mix of society neutering men and men neutering themselves.

Young men now grow up with very little of the pressure to provide for themselves/others, and all along the way are told how easy they have it compared to everyone else - when in reality that is a bunch of bull ****, but it doesn't change the fact that you feel like you are "underperfoming" as a person.

One main factor is males are never seen as victims in mainstream media. As such they are less inclined to come forth with problems because they will feel embarrassed. The reality is males are still required to perform stressful traditional roles and be the strong silent type while everyone else gets to be pandered and have full support doing whatever they want.

But like Bobby said, people also wallow in their negative thoughts yet they are still in control of their lives. Moaning about it won't do anything and using scapegoats like porn is just lazy and ignorant. Technology is there to supplement your life, not take it over, if you cannot handle it then you need to seek help and improve yourself.

Men really do have it easy compared to times of real war, outbreaks, true economical depressions. It may not be ideal or the dream you wanted but if you're in a first world country thinking the current age is some black cloud over males then you're an idiot that's only fulfilling your own prophecy.

Life is just life. You can't put your happiness in the hands of others. You mustn't be afraid to be alone. We are all alone in the end. We enter this world alone and we die alone. My post never mentioned or implied giving up. It explained women's innate solipsism and it's affect on men.

Where do you think motivation to climb out of a rotters lifestyle comes from? Or how one ends up a rotter? Nobody wants to be a rotter. It's down to your neuro-chemistry and hormones, some people are just cursed in that regard and it's much, much harder to break out, but not impossible.

I couldn't disagree more with the bold bit. Everything a man does is to increase his value to women on a subconscious level. We are survival and replication machines after all.

Your neurotransmitters determine whether you'll have the drive to work your ass off and crush life. They also determine whether you'll ldar. Everyone wants to be a ceo/10k a day, but few are.

Life today, although is easy from a survival stand point, it is pretty crappy from a social stand point for lots of people, mostly men. There has never been more people here, but people have never felt more alone. Society panders to women's needs and ignores men's.

It's like you're at work and have this really tough job and the person next to you has this easy job. But, everyone tells you your job is really easy and you're lucky to have this easy job, and they tell you that the person next to you has it way harder despite their job being way easier. You're constantly bombarded with people telling you how easy you have it and how difficult the person next to you has it, and all the while you know it's bullchit. The resentment from such a scenario is justified, this is where "misogyny" comes from.

Just as the quiet desperation thread yesterday explained, changing your life is not as easy.
