lmao at travelling to be more 'cultured'. yeah well done man, so difficult to go to another country, act like a tourist and claim seeing places that don't have even a quarter of your quality of life makes you a better person.
you can become a more cultured person by researching, but hey, that won't you get likes on insta and cool bull**** stories no one cares about
xoxo gossip goat sweety.

All of them are still working in their 50s and 60s. Even the ones that were multi millionaires in their 40s and never needed to work again. Like Metafour said its not about the money. They have all they need already. Even the ones that built multi million dollar businesses and sold them making enough money to never need to work again. Eventually they ALL started a new business and began building from the ground up again.
They don't want money to buy things or travel like you do. For them the creation of wealth and succeeding in their chosen field/achieving their goals are whats fulfilling. That's their celebration of life. And why they have more money then they care to spend, and why you fantasize about traveling the world being a 'badass' human.

How about being born and raised in the outskirts of Detroit, in a poor, dysfunctional family. Being doubted your whole life, told by everyone from your family to your teachers that you are nothing. Trash. Destined to end up another junkie in the streets. But you decided you will rise above that.
Starting your own business because you couldn't afford to go to college. Hustling around pulling up at basketball courts trying to sell used sneakers out the back of your car trunk. Eventually making it far enough to start another business and another, finally making your first million... only to lose it all during the recession.
5 years pass and you've persevered and made it all back. You did it once, you can do it again. It wasn't luck, it was knowledge, hard work and skill. You're at the best restaurant in the city with your family to celebrate your wife's birthday. You taste the steak... it's fuking good. You look around you, you feel like a boss. But it's not the taste of the steak and knowing it cost $100 that makes you feel good. It's knowing that you earned all of that because you worked your ass off. You DESERVE it. You came from nothing and took yourself on a whirlwind of a journey transforming yourself into the person necessary to get to where you are now.
To you that man sitting on his pile of wealth might be a waste. To him it's everything and happiness via a culmination of life experiences, struggles and successes that bring him to that single point in life. He reflects at everything he's been through and has attained happiness through his memories and the person he has become.
Your happiness is in the moment. His, is connected deeply through a lifetime of related experiences and accomplishments.
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

Those business people are wired to get off on the growing a business side. They can't thrive in anything else.
They might get dopamine from the results of their labour which makes them happy. Because happiness is literally neurotransmitters and hormones.
For example, I am not wired to do that and that is why I will probably never be rich. But my brother is very rich and I have the ability to live off of him (because he would allow me to). I can literally quit everything I am doing now and travel. But I don't wanna do that. So not everyone is wired to love going to new places, eating new foods and experiencing different cultures.
You sound like some Instathot. srs

Also, if you have a family then leaving them millions of dollars as a safety net so they can not have to worry about money after you're gone is a desirable thing. Teaching them proper wealth management and respect for money is necessary here though, or they'll just yolo it away like you seem to want to do.

I guess these people love stress lmao. No need to respond to a great wall of text. It's great, very great....stress is great too.
I guess you have no idea how stressful it is to make money, let alone maintain it! LOL

If you had money, you’d just fuk around doing whatever you enjoy and not worry about working.
After a dozen different posts explaining it you, you still seem to be confused at the idea some people would prefer to keep working than fuk long around

Do you realize LeBron James still "works"? He spent 8 hours a day rehabbing his latest injury. Just because he bounces a ball around for a living no homo doesn't mean it isn't work. He has an employer, co-workers, rules, regulations and a contract to follow and at one point even a dress code.
He could have retired at 21 if he wanted to.
You don't think he feels stress every day? Worrying about his age and declining athleticism and skill. Worrying about his legacy and what people think of him. Worrying if his management can assemble the proper team. Worrying if he will be able to recover from whatever injuries.
What about Spielberg? He can retire whenever he wants yet he still wants to make movies. You don't think it's stressful managing a hundred million dollar production with studios and investors and teams of hundreds breathing down your neck?
You think he just wakes up every day and is like "yeah fuk it put the T-rex here, the explosion over there and let's film this sh!t".

You don't understand pissed off guy. I care for the happiness of rich people. I care for everyone actually. I'm happy if I see others happy and doing well in life. It's nice, inspiring and uplifting. But if you desire for MORE and MORE. then that's when everything becomes very ugly. Just like with the people here arguing thinking that EXCESS is better. lol.
This is why people die for being obsessed with something. Obsessed with drugs, people die. You name it.

People who say "Hurr durr, a million dollars isn't much these days!" ****ing kill me.
1,000,000 invested in AT&T stock will give you an immediate extra 70,000 a fuking year.*
The problem is, idiots put that 1,000,000 in the bank, and just spend that money instead of investing it.
* This is absolutely not how you should invest 1,000,000 dollars, just making a point.

Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

1. Make millions
2. Live off the interest from it
3. Travel a lot
That is the plan for a lot of people, even if it doesn't always work out.

What a stupid post. This would be like a fatass telling you your dumb for bodybuilding and should be ok with just being skinny
The reason your strategy is “make millions and then relax” is why you will never make millions to begin with.

Yep. True multi millionaires either got there from owning their own business/capital or generational wealth. You can become rich being a doctor, lawyer, business but you will not become truly wealthy unless you own your own practice or business
These people care about money obviously but they care about building something just as much. The thought of sitting on a beach and drinking margaritas every day in retirement is hell to them. They need to be doing something.
Also, as you climb so does your social circle. It’s not like these multi millionaires are hanging out with average misc joes. They hang out with other multi millionaires and you bet your ass they still want to compete with them just like people here compete with those in their social circle instead of someone who shops at wal mart.
It isnt about greed, it isn’t about wanting more money. That’s cope from poor people. The second you stop growing is the second you start dying. The thought of “I’ll make x money and then stop and enjoy life” is absolutely pathetic and setting yourself up to be miserable.
The second you get that six pack are you going to a CiCis all you can eat pizza buffet 3x a week? Didn’t think so boyo
