Pretty rare but people have died by too much caffine and drinking too much water. Too much coke can cause a heart attack

Lol at the cops always parading their haul and act like they're making a difference.

First-year microeconomics is pretty clear on the subject:

big drug bust = reduced supply = prices increase until supply and demand is back in equilibrium = more incentive to get drugs into the country.

It doesn't make an ounce of difference, they need to look at the demand side of the equation (i.e. why are people taking the drugs)

Well I guess they should just open up the ports and borders and let all the drugs come in then so price of drugs can drop.

It hurts the drug traffickers. Not a lot but to say it makes no difference whatsoever is wrong. It is a good day for the good guys keeping that poison from hitting the street.

Maybe you should have taken second year microeconomics. Repeated drug seizures are likely to (a) discourage some suppliers by making drug distribution more expensive, and (b) increase the price of the product over the long term by increasing distribution costs, which will price out a portion of potential consumers (i.e., effectively reduce some demand).
Take it easy Christian

So ******* isn't poison? Might want to go to a rehab sometime and hear stories about how that drug has ruined ppls lives... It's a terrible drug especially in its worst form which we all know is crack.

All those selling and using it should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Sure some ppl can use it and live productive lives but not many. It's known as the devils dandruff for a reason..

I never said booze wasnt poison... it is but it's not as bad as *******. If coke was as widely used and as cheap as booze -- trust me it would ruin way more lives than alcohol does.. Use a little common sense.

Hard drugs destroyed the inner cities in the 80s, which lead to the 90s being the most violent decade

you guys have much bigger problems than ******* friend.
While the United States makes up just 4 percent of the world’s population, it accounts for nearly 30 percent of the world’s drug overdose deaths. Roughly half of these deaths can be attributed to prescription drug use.
the "war on drugs" was propaganda back in the day it's inefficient and expensive for taxpayers.

countries should:
1. legalize drugs, but have big industry standards
2. tax it
3. use the tax money for creating a world where people don't need to take drugs to escape their lives
4. create rehabilitation centers with no bad stigma attached it, where the real addicts get the help they need

if you have a happy life you don't need drugs. those addicts usually take it because they are missing something

Drop in the bucket.

2. Invisibles, Not Flashy Narcos

Escobar wasn’t afraid to flaunt his riches. His luxurious multimillion-dollar estate Hacienda Nápoles had its own extravagant zoo; he owned high-end cars and apparently ate from solid gold dinner sets.

Today, the ******* trade is booming like never before. ******* production in Colombia reached a record 1,379 metric tons in 2017. However, a new generation of traffickers, that InSight Crime calls the “Invisibles,” has emerged. They’ve learned that showing off a lavish lifestyle and using extreme violence is bad for business. Instead, anonymity is their protection plan.
