You guys realize she won't serve 20 years? But yes, I am all for equal sentencing but underage cases are all different. Willing participants that are barely underage etc shouldn't be met with full force compared to someone unwilling and younger. Case-by-case basis is what I am trying to say.

Either way, stop sleeping with underage humans and the problem is solved. If the sentence "Wasn't too bad" then there would never be hesitation.

Who cares if you'd be happy to bang a hot teacher when you were a minor, you either make it illegal and punished severely every time or you make it legal. No half-way nonsense, no "If it's a male it's more predatory" logic.

I had a shipmate, kid was BARELY 18 years old. He had sex with a 17 year old and his whole life was ruined over it.

This is an adult, placed in trust to your children. Believe it, if a 16 year old girl proclaimed she really did want to have sex with a 20+ year old male or worse 30+, it would not matter.

See that's where the law needs judges who treat each case differently, not just rule everything on technicalities. There's an obvious spectrum of severity and exploitation when it comes to underage sex.
