A fat old whale like that can have a knife it's not really gonna save her. You can get stabbed multiple times and live [ not even be in any mortal danger ]. I sat and thought about what I would do. I know for a fact I would have kicked her fat legs out, and then elbow her head into the ground until it was ground beef. Especially with that adrenaline and doing that to my kid, I know I wouldn't stop. I'd pay the consequences, if any.

Damn if she had a knife then he could have ran at her and do that nasty flying dropkick right to her back or chest. Straight forward . Would have worked since shes so fat and not mobile

First thing I'd want to do is gain control of the knife arm. Once that is locked down she's toast. Worst case, you take one coming in but once you have control of the arm, threat neutralized.

Dude I’m a pacifist, a “lover not a fighter” type - but attack my kids (or ANY kid) with a knife in front of me? You’re going down. Don’t care if you’re a man, woman, skinny, fat, whatever - at that point society disappears and it’s animal kingdom - kill or be killed.

Yes - I get the instinct to protect the kids which the dad did by pulling him behind his body, but absolutely would NOT let that whale of a bish walk away. If you’re so scared of the knife, chit, pick up a rock and throw it at her head. You don’t have to fight fair in that situation.
