you guys connected to a harness or anything to catch you if you fall?


i remember you talking about this. i didn't realize you guys built the tower itself, i thought you more did modifications or installed something up at the top

We’re always tied off with harness designed for tower work. When I got hired I was only doing lines and antennas but I got an opportunity to work with a steel crew and I took it, then they kept me on their crew. I’ve gotten to do some crazy and scary chit with this crew.

We’ve also got pull straps and do rappelling and what not when we need to

We stay at hotels, work pays for everything including food, takes us an hour and 15 mins to get from the hotel to the site.

We drove 10 hours to get here but we flew back and forth for our time off.
