You might be cut out to do hospice care for the dying too. If you have the heart for it, as I know from experience caring for terminally ill can suck you into making emotional attachments and then they die.

Not to be crude Here either but I have a gag reflex when it comes to other people’s number two’s. If I wore a germ mask then I probably could probably do it.

Are you going to be taking him places or will you be going out to do his shopping and run errands too?

Does he have hobbies or pets? Let us know these details later and how big his penis is (jk).

Changing elderly diapers didn't bother me too much. Just kind of did it. Thankfully I don't have to do that with this job.

I'll basically be driving him anywhere he wants to go. I'll do his shopping for him or take him if he wants to go. I also take him to places like the mall or whatever just to get out of the house and hang out.

He hunts, plays video games and has a service dog. He's currently out hunting right now and I meet him on Monday.

Apparently he mostly games all day (WoW and League), so I'll either bring my laptop and work on my business while he does that or I'll game with him.

You're taking care of an elderly man who plays wow and league of legends? How old are we talking here? Also he's disabled in what respect? He can hunt on his own perfectly fine, but needs you for what purpose? I'm not trying to sound harsh and I know there are many types of disabilities. Forgive me if I missed something where you explained it, but seems a bit odd to me. Who took him hunting? I don't understand why someone is paying you to sit with an old guy who seemingly is fine. Sounds more like just paying to have company rather than really caring for him, which is cool too. Either way good luck and hope it goes well.

I took care of a severely disabled person for 4 years and it was one of the hardest things I ever did.

Now I have a sidejob taking care of someone with a mental disability which is a whole other challenge too.

This is a lot better than giving people coffee. Your kid or kids will get older, too...which will make you cry but before long they'll be in school.

That'll change everything all over again.

They do actually get smarter which is pretty interesting.

I explained it earlier on. He's 23. His dad takes him hunting. He's paralyzed from the waist down. I'm being paid by the state.

I don't make it with canned veggies. Usually get green beans. Only canned thing is the cream of mushroom soup. It's like the whitest meal I can think of.
Add bacon and cheese and it's seriously delicious.
