What do you want a gun for? For plinking a 22 is fun and ammo is cheap but if you are serious about long range accuracy you might ought to look at something with a little more ooomph. 6.5 Creedmoor is the newest hot thing and is really good for long range flat shooting, 6.5 Grendel is good for range if you want to stick with the AR 15 platform, .308 has been around forever and ammo is everywhere as is .270, 7mm magnum is a favorite of mine to carry a lot of energy downrange while still shooting flat, 5.56 is what the army uses for an intermediate cartridge, there is just soooooo much out there

Of course for value and customization the Ruger 10/22 can't be beat.

Not flying on a plane for a while
Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

No reason to own a Mossberg .22 when there are M&P 15-22’s available. And yes, they can accept suppressors if you get the threaded bbl.
This is really the golden era of the AR15, though. If you don’t have one, you should get one.

I think you'd be hard pressed to get a self defense win at anything over 40 yards.and 40 yards is really pushing it.

There's this little switch on the side.....it flicks between auto and semi auto.
America restricts the population to semi-auto. I am not talking about clip size. Are you stupid?
