Literally 25-35% cheaper. No more "service fees", delivery fees are either free or super cheap, and i think even the overall prices come down.

If you use the services at least 4 times a month, its totally worth it.

It's a poor business model that won't survive long term, imo. Lukewarm, ok-ish food delivered for a huge markup to maybe break even on the PnL? It's all just a race to acquire customers and sell to amazon before running out of investor money.

this lmfao

anyone complaining about it because they used it once and are surprised...you're paying for the convenience.

If you're ordering regularly and still mad...sign up for the subscription that waives the service and delivery fees if you order over like $12, which nowadays is like 1 simple meal unless you strictly order the bottom barrel fast food. Well worth it if you order more than a few times/month.

yeah that's the way to go props. Uber eats is cool for the lazy incels who like to misc the whole time, and/or have been drinking and shouldn't drive, and/or are in a different country but want to try some local foods and not go out for whatever reason (i.e. long flight, dangerous for a whitey to walk around at night, etc)

True OP, why can't we just get chit for free? We need communism so Uber eats can't charge a fee for their service.

Get door dash pass for $9.99/month and it waives delivery charges and reduces fees. And if you aren't a peasant and have chase saphire reserved, you get door dash pass for free.

I use doordash and bought the 12/ month thing. Seems orth it

So you get 0 dollar delivery fee. Just have to make sure you use it more than 12 bucks in delivery fees per month

So, basically. You pay normal price you would at the restaurant and then add tip - which is the cost of the delivery. I dont mind paying 7-10 bucks to have it delivered, that seems fair.

Never had a problem with my food either. I tip well and always leave a review. I think tipping well prob attracts the better deliverers.. MAYBE. But just saying, legit have had no problems. I often see them take it out of their bag. When i hadnt left a review there was once or twice where a guy seemed to take a while, but ever since i did the food 99% of the time arrives before expected

Fast food is garbage. Last-mile delivery services are garbage. Meal plan, bring a lunch and save your money.

$9.90 is what they are adding on top of that meal delivery for you to rot away in the comfort of your own home.

What... you expect them to do it for free? Srs? Why would they pick up your food, deliver it to you, and not receive a dime for their time and resources?
I'm not blessed with riches, but I am rich with blessings.
Thank you, LORD, my God.

Elsewhere in the rest of the world we make our own food, especially sandwiches. Truly mind blowing how lazy people are in freedom land they can't even feed themselves.
