We have 2 GSDs (and had another one that has passed), one of them being a pretty high drive male, and I have told my wife 50x not to get in his face and smother him with hugs unless he is open to it. Obviously none of ours have ever done anything like this, and I am being overly cautious. I would venture to say that there is MUCH more to the story than this. Dog probably has resource aggression/girl has been hugging on him and yanking him around his entire life/etc...
also: will bet dollars to donuts she had been fukking with him for 10 straight minutes trying to get that perfect instasloot selfie and he was probably being extremely patient for a long time.
also x2: vet says dog is young and may be having growing pains. girl says dog is old and it has a gray muzzle. (wtf here...?)
also x3: did a motherfukking retarded chimpanzee stitch her face up? wat in the actual fuk.

The first time I met him, I instinctively knelt down to give him a friendly "heeeeeey buddy" and he growled deeply without looking at me.
Friend goes "yeah, don't do that, his joints hurt and it makes him irritable".
After he got his walk in and was all limbered up, he came over to the couch and put his head on the cushion right next to mine and stared up at me, like he was apologizing for being a dick earlier.
Point is, dogs have thoughts and feelings that have nothing to do with their owner. Putting both arms around an old dog's neck like that to try to make it pose for a picture is just crazy.
Nah, fukk that. I’m not doing that.

that's why you shouldn't teach your dog never to growl
dog was probably super mad but knew better than get yelled/beat for growling until it was too much and it snapped

To dog lovers, going in for a dog hug and squeezing their fur baby is a way to show how much they care. But to our canine companions, a dog hug is something much different. Bloom points out that there isn’t an equivalent in the dog world, so they aren’t going to understand that hugging equals love. “I suspect dogs interpret hugs mostly as confinement or restraint (not something most dogs enjoy—picture the last time you saw a dog being restrained to have a nail trim, or during a vet visit),” she says. Thomas agrees, adding that dog hugs might trigger a fight or flight response, because not unlike people, dogs don’t like being cornered or confined with no control over the situation. So, a dog’s inner dialogue might be: “What’s happening? I’m going to suffocate! Must. Get. Away.”

ay lmao.
This popped up in my FB last week, lulzy.
The dog was showing clear signs of not being comfortable.
At least she got the attention she craved.

When a dog trusts you he will let you hug him no probs.
However, you obviously dont do this with dogs raised in the streets that have being mistreated and abused by humans all their life.

Thing is, dogs really don't like being held like that.
You probably shouldn't hug your dogs, regardless of how adorable they are
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bus...g-2017-2%3famp
"The reason we say they don't like being hugged is because of what they look like when you're hugging them," Horowitz told me. "They pin their ears back, they lick their lips (sort of air licking). Or they yawn, which is another stress behavior. Or they move to get away. Or they show this kind of whale-eye posture — you can see the whites of their eyes. They show behavior that's like, 'This is uncomfortable.'"
Or, as Horowitz succinctly put it, dogs are dealing with it.

I bet the dog is her dads. Which she pays no attention to or walks. The dog probably is senile and can't remember who the sloot is. Anyways bet she was bothering the fuk out of the dog for some dumbass selfie. Finally he snapped.

If this was a pit bull, the jaws would have locked, it would have ripped her face off, ripped her throat out, and then snacked on her dead and still warm flesh until someone showed up to shoot it.

Sure the GSD gave clear signals it was pissed, but after it acted out the little fella stitched her face up. That's why the stitches look like that, right?

It was a friends dog. She knew it was her fault and she told the news that the dog is fine and no harm will be done to him. She also has 3 dogs and she is not angry at all.
She took it very well and the damage was not deep enough to fukkk her up.
Also the dog is old and she probably hurt him without noticed it.

Sorry but that would be a dead phucking dog. I would have killed him as soon as I got home from the hospital.
You don't bite a member of the house.
You even nip at a child without making contact as a dog and you get severely chastised.
