I'm slow to respond, so just wanna leave this here.

I would be very interested in hearing from other women diagnosed and where their "spots" were found. Mine were all around my armpit and really all around my bra line/wire cup as well.
Two of the three were in spots my bras would rub. One right below my right breast and the other one in my armpit. He removed the armpit one because it was the smaller of the three and it was causing some major discomfort.

I also have weird brown spots on my inner thigh that I'm getting looked at tomorrow. The doctor didn't want to touch those ones and recommended a specialist for that.

Tomorrow is my regular care physician to discuss the plan of action and get other tests done to make sure it's just the moles and not something spreading. I'm sure I'll be referred to a specialist by him.

Really weird, I do know that friction can cause freckles, at least that's what my ophthalmologist told me regarding contact lenses and being vigilant around eye screenings. It makes sense that places on the body would behave the same way.

Good luck with your PCP tomorrow, keep us updated. I'll be thinking about you (and hey, maybe you won't have to shave for a while?)

Isn’t skin cancer caused by the sun?
If you have it and never get sun then we are all fuked.

I pray everything works out for the best for you. I had a friend get a melanoma and they just cut it out along with other good skin and they are fine. I guess if it goes beyond the skin it’s more dangerous but I’m sure if they catch it early you should be good.
I now go to a dermatologist once a year for a screening and I get real nervous the few days before. I start to think that any mole could be cancer because I get a lot of sun.

Be strong Zyra, you'll get through this. It's not over till it's over.
No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

If I get a bruise or ingrown hair or even just a scrape from the dogs, a scab will form and it never heals. I have them all over my legs.

never heard of an urgent care doing biopsies before, and rarely offering pcp care, nor getting biopsy results back the same day.

Like I said in another comment, it's an urgent care/clinic.
Saw the PA, first, who then had an actual MD come in and take a slice of the mole with what looked like a hold puncher.

Yeah. Plus my mom and her dad both had skin cancer, as well (my grandpa died from lung cancer, too).

OP I work with a guy who’s had skin cancer on his face numerous times . They do skin grafts and you could never tell it was done.
He seems to be prone to it so always wears a hat now to keep the sun off his face
